Job Description Job Title: Warehouse Associate Job Description The Warehouse Associate plays a key role in ensuring accurate order fulfillment, efficient shipping and receiving, and well-maintained inventory within a smaller warehouse environment. This position involves processing customer orders, operating material-handling equipment, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace. The role starts as a 90-day assignment with the opportunity to transition to a permanent position. Responsibilities • Review and verify customer orders to ensure the correct part numbers, descriptions, and products are selected., • Identify and resolve order discrepancies accurately and in a timely manner., • Process customer orders for shipment using carriers such as UPS, LTL, FedEx, and other shipping providers., • Verify and maintain accurate records for all incoming and outgoing shipments., • Pick, pack, and prepare service parts and finished goods for shipment according to order specifications., • Perform monthly cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records for service parts and finished goods., • Monitor inventory levels and promptly notify leadership when parts, products, or packing materials are low., • Maintain adequate inventory of cartons, tape, crates, clamps, foam, and other packing materials., • Provide professional customer service by phone, email, and in person, including responding to parts-related inquiries (preferred but not required)., • Maintain accurate records for non-sellable and used warehouse inventory., • Keep the warehouse and stock areas clean, organized, and safe at all times., • Operate forklifts, pallet handlers, hand trucks, RF scanners, and other material-handling equipment as needed., • Support shipping and receiving activities, including preparing bills of lading and processing work orders., • Perform data entry related to inventory management, shipping, and receiving., • Sort, pack, and label products and materials to meet shipping and packaging requirements. Essential Skills • Minimum 1 year of prior warehouse experience., • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely and repeatedly., • Good computer skills for data entry and inventory management., • Experience with shipping and receiving processes., • Ability to use RF scanners for picking orders and inventory control., • Strong attention to detail when verifying orders and inventory records., • Basic understanding of inventory management and cycle counts., • Customer service orientation when interacting with internal and external contacts., • Ability to work full-time hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Forklift experience is strongly preferred., • Experience with UPS, LTL, and FedEx shipping methods is ideal., • Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is beneficial., • Experience with CSR or customer service roles is a plus., • Knowledge of preparing bills of lading and work orders is helpful., • Experience in packaging, picking, sorting, and material handling in a warehouse environment., • Experience maintaining records for non-sellable and used inventory is an advantage.Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grafton, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
