Job Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Trust & Estates Paralegal to join a sophisticated private client practice serving high-net-worth individuals, families, family offices, fiduciaries, and closely held businesses. Responsibilities • Manage complex trust and estate administrations from inception through completion., • Prepare asset inventories and assist with the valuation, transfer, retitling, and distribution of estate and trust assets., • Support the preparation of federal estate, gift, and fiduciary tax filings., • Assist with trust funding and ongoing trust administration matters., • Prepare deeds, assignments, transfer documents, beneficiary distribution documents, receipts, and releases., • Draft probate documents, court filings, and estate administration materials., • Assist with fiduciary accountings and administration reporting., • Coordinate with clients, trustees, beneficiaries, accountants, financial institutions, appraisers, and other professional advisors., • Support real estate transfers and related property matters arising from estate planning and administration., • Assist with the formation, maintenance, governance, and dissolution of corporations, LLCs, partnerships, and nonprofit entities., • Track critical deadlines, filings, distributions, and compliance requirements across multiple matters. Qualifications • 7+ years of trust and estates paralegal experience., • Strong experience with estate and trust administration, probate, and wealth transfer matters., • Knowledge of estate, gift, fiduciary, and property tax concepts., • Experience preparing real estate transfer documentation and coordinating related filings., • Familiarity with entity formation, governance, and compliance matters., • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook., • Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills., • Ability to manage multiple sophisticated matters while maintaining exceptional attention to detail., • Comfortable interacting directly with clients, fiduciaries, accountants, financial institutions, and other advisors., • Compliance with California Business & Professions Code, • 6450 required., • Bachelor's degree preferred.
