This position supports daily housekeeping and laundry operations, room turnover, member move-ins and move-outs, infection-control efforts, and overall facility appearance. The Housekeeper plays an important role in creating a comfortable and supportive environment for members, employees, and visitors. This role is ideal for someone who: • Takes pride in creating clean, organized, and welcoming spaces, • Enjoys staying active throughout the workday, • Has an eye for detail and quality, • Understands the importance of sanitation, safety, and infection control, • Enjoys helping others through behind-the-scenes support, • Thrives in a team-oriented environment while also working independently What You’ll Be Responsible For • Cleaning and sanitizing common areas, member rooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, and shared spaces, • Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and maintaining facility cleanliness, • Performing laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, organizing, and distributing linens and bedding, • Supporting room turnover and preparing rooms for new member occupancy, • Maintaining housekeeping supplies, equipment, and work areas, • Following infection-control, sanitation, and safety procedures, • Reporting maintenance, safety, or cleanliness concerns to appropriate personnel, • Supporting a positive and welcoming environment for members and staff What Success Looks Like • Facility cleanliness standards are consistently maintained, • Member rooms and common areas are clean, safe, and welcoming, • Laundry operations are completed accurately and efficiently, • Infection-control, sanitation, and safety standards are followed at all times, • Room turnover processes support timely member admissions and transitions, • Members, visitors, and employees experience a professional and well-maintained environment What We’re Looking For • High school diploma or GED, • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and operational needs, • Professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail, • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, • One year or more of housekeeping, janitorial, custodial, hospitality, healthcare, or environmental services experience preferred, • Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, residential treatment, hospitality, hotel, or community living environments preferred, • Knowledge of sanitation, cleaning, and infection-control best practices preferred, • Experience operating commercial housekeeping and laundry equipment preferred, • Bilingual (Spanish) skills preferred Environment + Physical Demands This position works in an outpatient behavioral health environment, similar to a residential setting. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
