Office Administrator Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Type: Temp to Perm Pay rate: £12.71 Location: Wakefield, WF1 Job Summary We are seeking an organised, reliable, and proactive Office Administrator to support the smooth day-to-day running of our office. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the team, maintain accurate records, coordinate office activities, and ensure that employees, customers, and visitors receive a professional and efficient service. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational and communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Key Responsibilities • Provide general administrative and clerical support to management and staff., • Answer and direct telephone calls, emails, and general enquiries., • Welcome visitors and provide professional front-of-house support where required., • Manage diaries, appointments, meetings, and meeting room bookings., • Prepare letters, reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and other business documents., • Maintain accurate electronic and paper filing systems., • Process incoming and outgoing post, correspondence, and deliveries., • Order and maintain office supplies, stationery, and equipment., • Liaise with suppliers, contractors, customers, and other external contacts., • Assist with invoices, purchase orders, expenses, and basic financial administration., • Maintain employee, customer, supplier, and company records as appropriate., • Support onboarding and other basic HR administration when required., • Coordinate travel arrangements, meetings, and company events where necessary., • Monitor office facilities and report maintenance or equipment issues., • Ensure confidential and sensitive information is handled appropriately., • Support management and colleagues with ad-hoc administrative tasks and projects., • Help maintain an organised, professional, and efficient working environment. Essential: • Strong organisational and time-management skills., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills., • Good attention to detail and accuracy., • Confident using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint., • Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks., • Professional and courteous telephone and email manner., • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team., • Discretion when handling confidential information
