We specialize in permanent roofline, landscape and commercial outdoor lighting. We’re looking for someone who wants to build a career, take ownership and grow into a leadership role. This is a full-time, year-round position with clear advancement opportunities. PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING This is a physically demanding outdoor position requiring professional experience working safely on ladders and roofs. Working at height is a major part of nearly every installation—not something you will do occasionally. You should apply only if you have worked at heights regularly in roofing, gutters, siding, exterior construction, window cleaning, solar, low-voltage installation or a similar trade. Being comfortable with heights is not enough. We need someone who can remain calm, productive and safety-focused while working at height throughout the day. WHAT YOU’LL DO • Install permanent roofline lighting systems, • Install low-voltage landscape lighting, • Install commercial outdoor lighting, • Run and secure low-voltage wiring, • Mount transformers, controllers and lighting components, • Measure, cut, fit and assemble materials accurately, • Work safely from ladders, roofs and aerial lifts, • Load equipment and prepare job sites, • Maintain clean, organized and professional work areas, • Communicate professionally with customers, • Troubleshoot field issues and improve installation processes PHYSICAL EXPECTATIONS You must be able to: • Climb extension ladders repeatedly throughout the day, • Work safely on one- and two-story buildings, • Spend significant time on ladders and roofs, • Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds, • Carry ladders, materials and equipment, • Bend, kneel, squat, reach and climb throughout the day, • Work outdoors in Middle Tennessee heat and humidity, • Maintain safe work habits after several hours of physical work This is skilled-trades work—not a retail, warehouse or light-duty position. REQUIRED SKILLS You should already be comfortable using: • Tape measures, • Power drills and impact drivers, • Miter saws, • Levels and common hand tools, • Basic electrical hand tools You do not need to be a master carpenter or electrician, but you must have good mechanical aptitude and be able to measure, cut, drill and assemble materials accurately. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS • $25–$30/hour, based on experience, • Performance bonuses, • Overtime opportunities, • Sales commissions for referrals and upsells, • Company vehicle during work hours, • Paid training, • Full-time, year-round employment, • Advancement and leadership opportunities MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS • At least 21 years old, • High school diploma or GED, • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record, • Comfortable driving a company vehicle, • Professional experience working on ladders and roofs, • Strong understanding of ladder and roof safety, • Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly, • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather, • Professional communication skills, • Ability to work independently and solve problems PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Low-voltage or landscape lighting experience, • Permanent lighting installation experience, • Roofing, gutter, solar or exterior construction background, • Crew leadership experience, • Aerial-lift experience or certification OUR CULTURE We are a small company with big ambitions.
