FMAS Group Ltd is looking for an experienced Part-Time HR Manager / HR Advisor to take ownership of the company's HR function and provide practical HR support to management. \n \n This is a hands-on position suited to an experienced HR professional who can independently manage employee matters, maintain compliant HR processes and provide management with clear advice on employment-related issues. \n \n The role is part-time and would suit someone looking for a professional HR position with responsibility and flexibility. \n \n Key Responsibilities \n \n • Take responsibility for day-to-day HR matters within FMAS Group Ltd \n • Act as the main point of contact for HR queries from management and employees \n • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records \n • Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, amendments and other HR documentation \n • Manage new starter and employee onboarding processes \n • Conduct and maintain right-to-work checks and associated documentation \n • Manage recruitment processes, including: \n \n • Preparing job advertisements \n • Reviewing applications and CVs \n • Candidate screening \n • Arranging interviews \n • Supporting management with candidate selection \n • Monitor employee attendance, sickness and absence \n • Maintain annual leave and employee records \n • Manage probation periods and coordinate probation reviews \n • Support management with employee performance issues \n • Coordinate performance reviews and improvement plans \n • Advise management on disciplinary and grievance matters \n • Manage disciplinary and grievance procedures where required \n • Assist with workplace investigations \n • Prepare formal HR correspondence and meeting documentation \n • Take meeting notes for formal HR matters where necessary \n • Manage employee leavers and offboarding \n • Coordinate information required for payroll \n • Review and maintain company HR policies and procedures \n • Ensure HR practices remain compliant with current UK employment legislation \n • Maintain appropriate records relating to employee documentation and expiry dates \n • Support management with workforce planning and recruitment requirements \n • Provide regular HR updates and reports to directors \n • Identify areas where HR processes and procedures can be improved \n • Help establish consistent and professional HR standards throughout the business \n \n Employee Relations \n \n The successful candidate should be comfortable advising management on matters including: \n \n • Absence and attendance \n • Performance management \n • Probation \n • Employee conduct \n • Disciplinary procedures \n • Grievances \n • Flexible working requests \n • Employee complaints \n • Workplace investigations \n • Contractual matters \n • Termination and dismissal procedures \n • General employment law and HR best practice \n \n Candidate Requirements \n \n We are looking for someone with: \n \n • Previous experience as an HR Manager, HR Advisor, HR Generalist or similar \n • Strong practical knowledge of UK employment law \n • Experience handling employee relations matters independently \n • Experience with disciplinary and grievance procedures \n • Experience managing sickness, absence and performance matters \n • Experience preparing employment contracts and HR documentation \n • Knowledge of right-to-work requirements \n • Recruitment and onboarding experience \n • Excellent written communication skills \n • Strong organisational and record-keeping skills \n • High levels of confidentiality and professionalism \n • Confidence advising managers and directors \n • Ability to work independently and take ownership of HR matters \n • Good judgement when dealing with sensitive employee situations \n \n Qualifications \n \n A CIPD qualification or CIPD study would be advantageous. \n \n However, we will also consider candidates without a formal CIPD qualification who can demonstrate strong practical HR experience and a good understanding of UK employment law. \n \n Working Arrangement \n \n This is a part-time position based with FMAS Group Ltd in Blackburn. \n \n The
