Role Overview As a Systems Integrator I, you will support the design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of industrial automation, SCADA, and control system solutions for utility, industrial, and infrastructure projects. Working alongside experienced engineers, project managers, and integration specialists, you will contribute to the development of control systems that improve reliability, efficiency, and operational performance. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build technical expertise in PLC programming, SCADA systems, communications networks, and industrial automation while working on complex, real-world projects from concept through commissioning. How You Will Make an Impact • Assist in the design, development, programming, and commissioning of PLC-based control systems using platforms such as Allen-Bradley, GE, Schneider, Mitsubishi, and other automation technologies., • Support the configuration and implementation of SCADA and HMI systems utilizing platforms such as Ignition, Wonderware, Iconics, and related software applications., • Develop control system documentation, including I/O point lists, wiring schedules, network diagrams, functional descriptions, and system architecture drawings., • Configure and troubleshoot industrial communication networks and protocols including Modbus, EtherNet/IP, DNP3, OPC, EtherCAT, fiber, radio, serial, and Ethernet communications., • Perform system testing, startup support, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting for automation, networking, and SCADA systems in both office and field environments., • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, clients, vendors, and subcontractors to support project execution, schedules, budgets, and technical deliverables., • Participate in commissioning activities, field installations, training opportunities, and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining compliance with company and client safety requirements. What You Will Bring • Technical degree, associate’s degree, or bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Automation, Control Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline encouraged., • OR a minimum of 1 year of systems integration experience or 2 years of experience supporting controls design, industrial automation, or related technical projects., • Basic understanding of PLC programming, industrial control systems, SCADA platforms, and automation concepts., • Familiarity with industrial networking infrastructure and communication protocols., • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities with excellent attention to detail., • Strong verbal and written communication skills., • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining quality and accuracy., • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications., • Willingness to participate in an on-call support rotation., • Commitment to maintaining safe work practices and supporting a team-oriented environment. Work Environment & Preferences • Work Model: Office, hybrid, and field-based work may be required depending on project and customer needs., • Preferred Schedule: Full-time, exempt position., • Travel Requirements: Approximately 25% to 50% travel, including overnight stays, client visits, field installations, commissioning activities, and project support., • Physical Requirements: Ability to work in office, industrial, utility, and construction environments. May require standing, walking, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, lifting up to 25 pounds, and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
