Responsibilities: • Manage a docket of approximately 20 to 25 plaintiff personal injury cases with a focus on matters approaching expert designation and trial readiness., • Evaluate case posture and develop litigation strategies aimed at securing favorable settlements or advancing claims through trial., • Handle key pre-trial activities, including expert witness coordination, deposition preparation, motion practice, and trial preparation., • Conduct negotiations with opposing counsel and insurance representatives to resolve claims effectively when appropriate., • Appear in court for hearings, depositions, settlement conferences, and trials as needed., • Work closely with firm leadership, case managers, and support staff during onboarding and throughout the life of each case., • Prepare persuasive legal briefs, motions, and other litigation documents that support case advancement and trial strategy., • 5 to 15 years of experience practicing law, with a strong foundation in civil litigation., • Active attorney licensure and ability to practice in the applicable jurisdiction., • Prior experience handling personal injury matters on the plaintiff side., • Demonstrated ability to draft motions, briefs, discovery, and other litigation materials., • Trial experience is preferred, including experience gained in other litigation settings such as criminal prosecution., • Strong working knowledge of case development, negotiation strategy, and courtroom procedure., • Ability to manage multiple active files while partnering effectively with legal and administrative support teams.
