About the Role Amped Electric is seeking an HR Business Partner & Recruiting Manager to manage day-to-day human resources and recruiting across the Company. This person will serve as a key resource for employees and managers while owning the processes that support Amped's team from initial recruiting and hiring through onboarding, employment and offboarding. The role combines hands-on HR responsibilities with active recruiting. You will manage employee onboarding and offboarding, HR documentation, employee records and day-to-day HR needs while also managing LinkedIn, Indeed and other hiring platforms, sourcing candidates and helping managers fill critical field and middle-management positions. The role is built around three priorities: • Support Our People: Serve as a day-to-day HR resource for employees and managers, helping manage employee needs, HR processes, documentation, policies and benefits., • Own the Employee Lifecycle: Manage onboarding, employee changes and offboarding while maintaining accurate records and consistent HR processes across the Company., • Recruit Great Talent: Manage Amped's recruiting channels and candidate pipeline, proactively source and screen candidates and help managers consistently fill open positions. Responsibilities 01 / HR Business Partner & Employee Lifecycle • Serve as a day-to-day HR resource for employees and managers across the Company., • Own the employee onboarding process from accepted offer through the employee's first day and initial orientation., • Coordinate pre-employment requirements, new-hire paperwork, benefits enrollment and required documentation., • Work with managers to ensure new employees have the information, equipment and resources needed to get started., • Manage employee offboarding, including documentation, benefits coordination, Company property and internal notifications., • Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files and required HR documentation throughout the employee lifecycle., • Support managers with employee questions, personnel matters, performance management and Company policies., • Help administer Company policies, benefits, PTO and other employee programs., • Coordinate employee changes and other HR-related requests., • Assist with employee relations matters in coordination with Company leadership and outside HR resources as appropriate., • Help ensure HR processes and documentation are consistently followed across the organization., • Identify opportunities to improve and standardize HR processes as Amped continues to grow. 02 / Recruiting & Talent Acquisition • Manage Amped's presence across LinkedIn, Indeed and other online recruiting and hiring platforms., • Create, post and maintain job listings for open positions across the Company., • Proactively source and reach out to candidates for field, skilled-trade and middle-management positions., • Review applications and resumes and conduct initial candidate screens., • Partner with hiring managers to understand open positions and candidate requirements., • Coordinate interviews and maintain consistent communication with candidates and hiring managers., • Build and maintain candidate pipelines for recurring and high-priority positions., • Identify new recruiting channels, trade schools, local organizations and other sources of talent., • Track open positions, candidate pipelines and recruiting activity., • Help improve Amped's recruiting processes and identify new ways to attract and retain strong talent. 03 / What You Bring • 2–4 years of HR, recruiting, talent acquisition or related experience., • Experience supporting employee onboarding, offboarding and day-to-day HR administration., • Experience using LinkedIn, Indeed and other online recruiting platforms., • Comfortable proactively sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes and conducting initial phone screens., • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with field employees, managers and Company leadership., • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through., • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and taking ownership of processes from start to finish., • Strong judgment and discretion when handling employee information and personnel matters., • Experience in construction, skilled trades, field services or a similar industry is a plus., • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
