As the Registered Manager, you will lead a home that prioritises emotional security, personalised care and positive development, helping children and young people to thrive and reach their full potential. The Role As Registered Manager, you will: • Oversee the full operational management of the children's home in line with the Children's Homes Regulations and Ofsted standards, • Lead on care planning, safeguarding, staffing, quality assurance and the continued development of the home, • Ensure children and young people receive high-quality, person-centred care tailored to their individual needs and developmental goals, • Create and maintain a positive, professional and supportive team culture, • Mentor, motivate and develop staff to deliver consistent, high-quality and trauma-informed care, • Act as a strong advocate for children and young people, • Represent the service in professional networks, multi-agency meetings and Ofsted inspections, • Take responsibility for the home's financial and administrative performance, • Manage rotas, staffing and resources effectively, • Drive continuous improvement and ensure the home remains compliant, sustainable and focused on achieving the best possible outcomes What We're Looking For We are seeking a strong and experienced leader who is genuinely committed to making a difference in the lives of children and young people. Essential Requirements • Previous experience managing a children's residential home, • Experience supporting children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties and/or complex needs, • Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, inspections and quality standards, • Proven experience leading, managing and developing staff teams, • Confident knowledge of safeguarding, care planning and risk management, • Experience working effectively with multi-agency professionals, • Experience managing budgets, rotas and operational performance, • Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills, • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or working towards the qualification, • Proficient in digital care systems and Microsoft Office, • Full UK Driving Licence Why Apply?
