Architect OR Architectural Technician, outskirts of Exeter, £30k - £45k DOEPlease contact Sophie Randle at RGB Recruitment for more information ASAP!A well-established architectural practice just outside of Exeter is looking for an experienced Architect or Architectural Technologist to join their team.This is a senior level position suited to someone confident leading the technical delivery of projects, particularly within the housing sector. Experience working with developer-led residential schemes is highly desirable, although experience from other backgrounds will also be considered.The practice delivers a range of projects including residential, industrial and commercial schemes, with leisure and hotel experience viewed as a bonus.Role & Responsibilities:\n\n • Leading the technical delivery of projects from planning through to construction\n, • Producing and overseeing detailed construction drawing packages\n, • Working closely with clients and consultant teams to ensure coordinated delivery\n, • Managing and supervising projects on site, ensuring quality and compliance\n, • Coordinating consultants and resolving technical queries during construction\n, • Ensuring projects are delivered in line with Building Regulations and best practice\n, • Mentoring and supporting junior team members where required\nRequirements:\n\n, • Relevant Architectural qualification\n, • Minimum 5 years’ experience within a UK architectural practice\n, • Solid career history\n, • Strong background in housing projects, ideally with developer clients\n, • Experience across industrial, leisure, hotels and commercial sectors beneficial\n, • Confident managing projects on site and overseeing technical delivery\n, • Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing\n, • AutoCAD proficiency is essential\n, • Revit proficiency is preferred, however training will be provided\n This is a genuine opportunity to join a practice that values long term careers.
