We're delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established, food-led country pub for an experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen and continue delivering a high-quality fresh food offering. This is an excellent opportunity for either an established Head Chef looking for a fresh challenge or a strong Sous Chef ready to take the next step in their career. You'll have the opportunity to put your own stamp on the kitchen, lead a committed brigade and work closely with an experienced management team within a growing independent hospitality business. The Role Lead, inspire and develop the kitchen team. Take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the kitchen. Create and develop seasonal menus using fresh ingredients. Manage stock, GP and kitchen costs. Maintain exceptional standards of food quality and presentation. Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are always met. Work closely with the front of house team to deliver an outstanding guest experience. About You We're looking for a Head Chef who leads from the front and enjoys getting the very best from their team. You'll be a confident leader with excellent people management skills, capable of motivating and developing a brigade while creating a positive kitchen culture built around high standards. Whether you're already a successful Head Chef or an ambitious Sous Chef ready to take the next step, you'll have a genuine passion for fresh food, strong commercial awareness and the ability to thrive in a busy service environment. You'll be looking for a long-term opportunity where you can make a real impact and continue developing your career. Package Salary up to £42,000 , depending on experience. 45-hour permanent contract.
