Job Description This role is responsible for welding manufactured components consisting of stainless steel according to customer specifications. The shift is from 7am-3:30pm, M-F. Main Job Duties: • Perform MIG and/or TIG welding on manufactured components, • Review and understand work instructions and blueprints to ensure proper components are used, • Inform supervisor of any part or equipment defects to ensure prompt response to the problems, • Communicate effectively with department personnel to facilitate production orders, • Follow instructions as provided by supervisor, • Complete assigned work within given timeframe and according to specifications, • Cooperate with other employees in the department and maintain a safe working environment, • Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work area, • Adhere to all company safety regulations, • Other duties as assigned Education: High School diploma or equivalent is required Experience: • A minimum of 1 year of welding experience is required, • A minimum of 6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: • Ability to understand a work order to use proper components is required, • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints is required, • Knowledge of quality assurance concepts to identify and prevent errors within the production process is preferred, • Ability to work overtime when required, • Ability to arrive promptly for shift and stand and/or walk for duration of shift, • Ability to hear, speak, kneel, bend and use a step ladder or stool, • Capable of lifting 45 pounds, • Capable of working in a manufacturing environment #2127LI
