Immediate opening for a Warehouse Inventory Associate in Vista, CA who possesses: • 1-3 years of inventory management experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment, • Experience with inventory tracking, stock allocation, order fulfillment, cycle counting, or inventory reconciliation, • Forklift driving experience FULL DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a Warehouse Inventory Associate to support inventory allocation, material distribution, cycle counting, inventory accuracy, and production workflow in a manufacturing environment. This temp-to-hire, onsite role works closely with Production, Purchasing, Planning, Sales, and Customer Service to allocate materials and components based on production schedules and customer demand, identify shortages, resolve inventory discrepancies, and maintain accurate inventory records. The ideal candidate will have hands-on inventory experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution setting, strong computer and ERP/MRP skills, forklift experience, and excellent attention to detail. The selected candidate will be responsible for: • Allocating materials, components, and finished goods based on production schedules, customer orders, and inventory levels, • Supporting allocation of front-loaded projects provided by Planning, • Monitoring inventory availability and identifying shortages or potential bottlenecks, • Collaborating with Production Planning to prioritize orders and adjust material allocations as needed, • Working with Purchasing to expedite materials for critical shortages, • Maintaining accurate inventory records and allocation data in the ERP system, • Reconciling discrepancies between physical inventory and system data, • Performing daily physical cycle counts, • Locating and accurately counting inventory parts, • Investigating inventory discrepancies using Epicor applications, • Reporting incorrect bin quantities to management with applicable part, quantity, bin, and lot information, • Communicating allocation updates and constraints to Production, Sales, Customer Service, and other internal teams, • Using email, Teams, and Wrike to communicate inventory and allocation information, • Working with Engineering, Production Control, and Planning to resolve inventory or allocation issues, • Analyzing allocation trends and providing recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce delays, • Operating a forklift as needed to move or access inventory, • Supporting general warehouse, inventory, and production activities as needed, • Performing other duties as assigned The selected candidate will also possess: • High school diploma or GED required, • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment, • 1-3 years of inventory management experience preferred, • Hands-on experience with an ERP/MRP system required, • Experience with inventory tracking, stock allocation, or order fulfillment processes preferred, • Experience with cycle counting, inventory audits, and inventory reconciliation preferred, • Forklift driving experience, • Strong Excel and computer skills, • Ability to interpret travelers and blueprints, • Strong communication skills when working with production teams, • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, • Strong problem-solving abilities, • Ability to work independently and proactively, • Ability to work in a production environment with varying temperature and noise levels, • Ability to wear required safety glasses and safety toe shoes or boots, • Ability to work overtime and Saturdays as needed, • Ability to work onsite in Vista, CA, • Ability to work Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, • Ability to support a temp-to-hire opportunity Physical Requirements: • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout a manufacturing and warehouse environment, • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, crouch, push, pull, lift, carry, and move inventory, materials, and parts as needed, • Ability to safely operate a forklift and other standard warehouse or material-handling equipment, • Ability to perform repetitive movements while counting, locating, handling, allocating, and organizing inventory, • Ability to use hands and fingers for inventory handling, computer work, data entry, documentation, and material movement, • Ability to review inventory records, production schedules, travelers, blueprints, ERP data, spreadsheets, emails, and computer screens, • Ability to move throughout production and warehouse areas while complying with applicable safety procedures, • Ability to work in a production environment where temperature, noise, and other environmental conditions may vary, • Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses and safety toe shoes or boots, • Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail while performing physical inventory and warehouse tasks Salary Range: $25 to $28/hour More information can be found at www.talentzok.com. \nCompany Description TalentZok was founded in 2008 and has been repeatedly recognized as one of San Diego County's fastest growing businesses.
