Job DescriptionJob Title: Warehouse WorkerJob Description Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Worker where you will play a crucial role in our operations by handling and organizing goods efficiently. This role involves a variety of tasks that ensure the smooth functioning of our warehouse. Responsibilities • Perform shipping and receiving duties., • Stock shelves and sort packages., • Organize items and maintain inventory accuracy., • Scan, label, and mark items using an RF scanner., • Utilize manual pallet jacks for material handling., • Load and unload materials efficiently.Essential Skills, • Experience with general labor and packing., • Proficiency in using RF scanners and handling warehouse equipment., • Familiarity with shipping, stocking, and inventory processes., • Ability to operate a manual pallet jack., • Basic understanding of warehouse production and order picking.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • High School Diploma or GED required., • Warehouse experience is preferred, but not mandatory.Why Work Here? Work Environment You will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with narrow aisles. Safety is prioritized as forklifts and hand carts navigate the warehouse. Please note that cellphones and electronics are not permitted. Temperature conditions vary by season, with heating provided in winter and fans and water coolers available in summer. Dress code includes light, breathable layers with sneakers, boots, or steel-toe shoes required. Open-toe shoes, sandals, flats, and heels are prohibited. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dayton, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.25 - $19.75/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
