Job DescriptionImmediate Hirring for Warehouse Picker $16-17/HR A committed 1st-shift Warehouse Picker is required to join our team. Your responsibilities will include sorting boxes and arranging them on the correct pick pallet for forklift operators. You will be engaged in picking and packing products of various sizes, ranging from handheld boxes to thousand-pound machine parts, for which you will use a lift. You will also utilize an RF scanner and be responsible for loading and unloading semi-trailers with completed pallets. Responsibilities • Sort and arrange boxes on pick pallets for forklift operators., • Pick and pack products of various sizes, from handheld boxes to large machine parts., • Use an RF scanner for inventory and product tracking., • Load and unload semi-trailers with completed pallets. Essential Skills • Experience in picking and packing products., • Proficiency in using an RF scanner., • Ability to load and unload semi-trailers., • Experience in operating lifting equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications • 3-6 months of warehouse experience., • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., • Willingness to work mandatory overtime., • Forklift experience is preferred but not required. Work Environment This is a fully on-site position in a large parts distribution center located in Davenport, Iowa. We operate in a large, open facility with a variety of products and forklifts. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Davenport, IA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
