Summary of Job The Senior Business Analyst plays a critical role in driving data-informed decision-making across brand management, food service channels, retail performance, and marketing initiatives. This position partners cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to deliver actionable insights, optimize commercial strategies, and enhance overall business performance in a dynamic food and beverage environment. Essential Functions and Responsibilities • Analyze business performance across brands, food service, and retail channels, identifying trends, risks, and growth opportunities., • Partner with Marketing teams to evaluate campaign effectiveness, promotions, pricing strategies, and ROI., • Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs to track sales performance, market share, customer behavior, and product profitability., • Support brand strategy through data analysis, consumer insights, and competitive benchmarking., • Collaborate with Sales and Key Account teams to optimize customer strategies, assortment planning, and trade spend effectiveness., • Provide insights into foodservice channel performance, including distributor analytics, menu trends, and customer segmentation., • Lead forecasting, demand analysis, and scenario planning to support commercial and operational decisions., • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices in data analytics and reporting., • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear, compelling, and business-focused manner., • Ensure data integrity and alignment across systems (ERP, CRM, BI tools)., • Drive category and brand growth strategies using market and consumer data., • Support new product launches with market analysis, pricing strategy, and performance tracking., • Evaluate retail execution and shelf performance through syndicated data (e.g., Nielsen, IRI)., • Partner with Marketing on digital and traditional campaign analytics., • Contribute to go-to-market strategies across retail and foodservice channels. Required Education and Experience • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Marketing, Data Analytics, or related field (master’s preferred)., • 5-8+ years of experience in business analytics, preferably within the food & beverage or CPG industry., • Strong experience supporting brands, retail, and/or foodservice channels., • Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)., • Experience with syndicated data sources (e.g., Nielsen, IRI/Circana) highly preferred., • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills., • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities., • Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
