Job Description Job Title: Front Desk Receptionist Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Location: Hialeah, Florida Position Summary: A healthcare organization is seeking a reliable, patient, friendly, and bilingual Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and a service-oriented approach in a healthcare environment. Experience working with elderly patients is highly valued. Key Responsibilities: • Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner, • Answer and route phone calls promptly and effectively in both English and Spanish, • Schedule appointments and manage patient check-in and check-out processes, • Verify patient information and maintain accurate records, • Collect co-payments and assist with basic billing inquiries as needed, • Communicate clearly with clinical staff to support efficient patient flow, • Maintain an organized and orderly front desk area, • Demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, and sound judgment in all interactions with patients, visitors, and staff, • Maintain a calm, respectful, and service-oriented approach, particularly when assisting elderly patients or addressing sensitive situations, • Comply with HIPAA regulations and safeguard patient confidentiality at all times, • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and applicable healthcare regulations, • Job responsibilities may be modified, expanded, reduced, or reassigned at any time based on operational needs and do not limit the duties of this position to those listed above Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required, • Previous front desk, receptionist, or customer service experience preferred, • Experience working with elderly patients or in a healthcare setting is ideal, • Reliable, punctual, and dependable, • Friendly, patient, and professional communication style, • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required), • Basic computer and office equipment proficiency Physical Requirements: • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, • Ability to communicate effectively in person and by phone, • Ability to perform repetitive office tasks Benefits: • Competitive compensation, • Health, dental, and vision insurance options, • Paid time off and paid holidays, • Retirement plan options, • Opportunities for professional growth Employment Status: Employment with this healthcare company is at-will, meaning that either the employee or the employer may terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause or notice, in accordance with applicable law.
