Position Summary: The Head of Operations will oversee the operational functions and will lead, integrate, and scale the operational ecosystem across Unical, Ecube and VAS revenue streams and drive operational excellence through product, people, quality, and innovation. Primary responsibilities include strategic, organizational, and administrative leadership in the day-to-day operations. Primary Responsibilities: Corporate Governance, Matrix Alignment & Strategic Integration 35% • Multi-Entity Synergy & Standardization: Harmonize and streamline operational workflows across all three legal entities to eliminate structural friction, optimize resource sharing, and leverage economies of scale., • Global Alignment: Act as the primary operational liaison to SATAIR, ensuring that US operations seamlessly align with global corporate strategies, KPIs, and PMO standards., • Corporate Governance: Manage the operational compliance of three separate balance sheets and legal structures, ensuring that operational data and processes strictly support corporate audits, transfer pricing policies, and internal risk controls., • Infrastructure & Digital Transformation: Lead the implementation of scalable enterprise solutions (e.g., ERP consolidation, automated warehousing) tailored to the USM business model to support long-term growth. End-to-End Supply Chain, Procurement & Logistics Excellence 30% • Global & Domestic Logistics: Oversee complex, cross-border and domestic supply chain operations, including customs compliance, warehousing, inventory optimization, and final-mile delivery for all three entities., • Strategic Vendor Management: Architect and negotiate enterprise-level service level agreements (SLAs) with key logistics providers, manufacturing partners, and third-party vendors to secure competitive advantages and cost efficiencies., • Operational Risk & Resilience: Establish robust business continuity frameworks and dual-sourcing strategies to mitigate global supply chain disruptions affecting US market delivery., • Data-Driven Performance: Deploy advanced operational KPIs (e.g., inventory turn rates, total cost to serve) to institutionalize a culture of continuous improvement (Lean/Six Sigma). Financial Stewardship, CAPEX Management & Cost Optimization 15% • P&L and Budget Accountability: Co-own the operational P&L for the US entities; design, manage, and optimize operational OPEX and CAPEX budgets., • Corporate Investment Analysis: Evaluate, present, and execute capital expenditure projects (CAPEX) to the global board, securing corporate funding through data-backed business cases and ROI projections., • Efficiency Drives: Continuously analyze operational cost drivers to identify structural savings, automation potentials, and footprint optimization opportunities across the US. Regulatory Compliance, EHS & Risk Mitigation 10% • US Regulatory Frameworks: Ensure absolute compliance across all facilities with federal, state, and local US regulations (including OSHA, EPA, and industry-specific UMS standards)., • Audit Readiness: Maintain all operations in a constant state of internal and external audit readiness, aligning local execution with global corporate compliance guidelines and trade control regulations. Leadership, Talent Scaling & Culture 10% • Leadership & Mentorship: Build, scale, and mentor a high-performing operations leadership team across multiple locations, fostering an inclusive environment of accountability and excellence., • Corporate Change Management: Act as a key driver of change, guiding the organization through complex operational transformations, system migrations, or post-acquisition integrations without disrupting day-to-day business., • Lead and develop a team across multiple locations and over various functions., • Motivate and lead a high-performance management team., • Fosters a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company. Qualified Experience / Skills / Training: Education: • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field is required. Preferred: • Master’s degree MBA strongly preferred. Experience: • Minimum of 15+ years of progressive operational leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a C-level within a subsidiary or division of a multinational corporation Licensure/Certifications: • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is highly advantageous. Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities: Required: • Deep operational knowledge of the USM business sector, including its specific market dynamics, technical complexities, and regulatory challenges in the US., • Ability to oversee all facilities operations, global warehouse operations and experience with 3PL., • Experience managing a $40 million+ P&L while in a direct operational role., • History of successful revenue growth with ability to build to scale., • Demonstrated success in managing operations across multiple legal entities or complex matrix organizations simultaneously., • Understand accounting principles including budgeting, balance sheets, income statements, cash flow, and capital. planning management., • Enthusiasm, credibility, communication skills and an in-depth understanding of the industry including risk management, compliance, and regulatory requirements (FAA, OSHA, EHS, ESG, etc.).
