Job DescriptionJob Title: Facilities CoordinatorJob Description The Facilities Coordinator provides comprehensive onsite support for facility services, building maintenance, engineering projects, and equipment upkeep. This role ensures that the site operates smoothly by handling day-to-day facilities activities, coordinating maintenance and repairs, and supporting employees with building access, security, and general office needs. Responsibilities • Perform general facility support tasks, including addressing building security issues, maintaining access systems, and supporting overall facility operations., • Handle shipping and receiving activities, including coordination of incoming and outgoing packages and materials, and ensure timely distribution of mail to employees., • Support office logistics by coordinating furniture and equipment moves and setting up conference rooms for meetings and events., • Complete building and equipment maintenance tasks, including work orders, scheduled routine maintenance, and preventive maintenance activities., • Carry out basic facilities maintenance tasks to address routine issues, particularly in areas such as HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems, as needed., • Manage company vehicles at the site and coordinate transportation of people and items when required., • Coordinate the purchase of supplies, maintain appropriate inventory levels, and ensure critical facility materials are available when needed., • Respond promptly and effectively to facility-related emergencies as assigned, helping to maintain a safe and operational environment., • Coordinate assigned activities with outside contractors and vendors, including scheduling, overseeing work performed, and ensuring quality and compliance with site requirements., • Support building maintenance in environments such as manufacturing and medical equipment facilities, ensuring equipment and infrastructure remain in good working order., • Assist with direct reports or team members as needed, contributing to leadership and oversight of day-to-day facilities tasks., • Use computer systems and software to track assets, monitor inventory, manage work orders, and document maintenance activities., • Apply knowledge of shipping service operations and software, such as FedEx and UPS platforms, to manage logistics and shipments., • Support building security by utilizing and monitoring security systems and following established procedures., • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across the site, providing responsive facilities support and clear communication.Essential Skills, • High or secondary school diploma or equivalent, with relevant formal academic or vocational qualification., • Previous facilities or building maintenance experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job, comparable to at least 2 years., • Experience managing facilities for at least 3 years, including oversight of building maintenance and facility operations., • Demonstrated ability to follow directions and perform tasks efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment., • Consistently positive attitude with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues, vendors, and visitors., • Strong oral and written communication skills for clear documentation and coordination., • Solid computer proficiency, including the ability to use basic office software and facility-related systems., • Thorough understanding of office equipment and machinery and how to operate, troubleshoot, or coordinate repairs., • Basic facilities skills to address routine maintenance issues, including mechanical and preventive maintenance tasks., • Hands-on experience with facilities maintenance, maintenance technician work, or similar roles., • Ability to support manufacturing and medical equipment environments through reliable facility and equipment upkeep.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Technical certificates related to facilities, maintenance, or building systems are beneficial and may be required for technical positions., • Working knowledge of building maintenance disciplines such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and relevant construction codes., • Experience with HVAC systems, including basic troubleshooting or coordination of repairs., • Thorough knowledge of shipping service operations and software such as FedEx and UPS for managing logistics., • Good understanding of security systems and their operation within a facility environment., • General understanding of building automation systems, asset tracking tools, and inventory monitoring processes., • Experience overseeing direct reports or leading small teams within a facilities or maintenance context., • Background in manufacturing or medical equipment facilities, with familiarity in maintaining specialized equipment and environments., • Leadership experience gained through coordinating projects, contractors, or maintenance activities., • Motivation to build a strong resume and grow within a large company, with interest in potential contract extensions.Work Environment This role is fully onsite, working Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work as needed to support facility operations and special projects. The environment includes office, manufacturing, and medical equipment areas, requiring regular interaction with building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical equipment. The Facilities Coordinator works with office equipment, security systems, building automation tools, asset tracking and inventory monitoring systems, and shipping platforms such as FedEx and UPS. The setting is professional and safety-conscious, with an emphasis on reliability, responsiveness, and collaboration. The position offers exposure to a large corporate environment, opportunities to work with outside contractors and vendors, and the chance to develop strong leadership and technical facilities experience. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Las Vegas, NV. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.39 - $22.66/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
