Job Description Job Title: 2nd Shift Warehouse Worker Job Description Join a dynamic distribution company specializing in automotive parts as a long-term shipping clerk and warehouse worker. This role is essential to the smooth operation of our 2nd shift team, and offers opportunities for growth and development. Responsibilities • Receive and restock inventory, manage dispatch, and handle overstock., • Load and unload materials from trucks efficiently., • Break down boxes and package items for shipment., • Use order rolling stairs, pickers, and RF scanners to fulfill orders., • Assist Warehouse Supervisors as needed., • Pick orders utilizing stairs to access materials for the automotive industry. Essential Skills • Experience with general labor in a warehouse setting., • Proficiency in using RF scanners., • Ability to pick, pack, and package orders efficiently., • Experience with pallet jacks, loading, and unloading., • Capacity to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds., • Comfortable using rolling safety ladders, including 15 ft stair ladders. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Ability to speak, read, and write English., • Must be able to stand, walk, sit, push, pull, and reach with hands and arms., • Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or squat., • Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment. The role requires working the 2nd shift from 2 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with mandatory overtime up to 2 hours daily and occasional Saturdays. Dress code requires plain shirts, jeans without holes, and closed-toed shoes. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brea, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
