Perform general facility maintenance, including cleaning, sanding, painting, and grounds upkeep. Perform physical activities including walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, kneeling, climbing, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling. Perform other duties as assigned. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Strong understanding of wastewater treatment processes, equipment, and maintenance practices. Ability to operate motor vehicles, tractors, generators, pumps, hand and power tools, laboratory equipment, and detection devices. Knowledge of occupational hazards and standard safety practices. Ability to recognize inefficient, unusual, or unsafe operating conditions. Basic computer and office equipment skills. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, city officials, and the general public.
