Client Overview Our client is a healthcare organization providing medical, dental, behavioral health, and ancillary services. The organization is committed to maintaining high standards of patient care, compliance, and revenue cycle operations. They are currently looking to add a Supervisor of Revenue Cycle and Credentialing to their team.\n \n Salary/Hourly Rate $35/hr - $40/hr\n \n Position Overview Our client is seeking a Supervisor of Revenue Cycle and Credentialing to oversee daily revenue cycle and provider credentialing operations. This position will provide leadership to Revenue Cycle and Credentialing staff while ensuring accurate billing, timely provider enrollment, reimbursement integrity, and compliance with applicable federal, state, payer, HRSA, and NCQA requirements. The Supervisor will work closely with Finance, Patient Access, Clinical Operations, IT, and other internal teams to improve workflows, resolve reimbursement issues, and support overall revenue performance.\n \n Responsibilities Of The Supervisor Of Revenue Cycle And Credentialing \n\n • Provide leadership, guidance, coaching, and oversight to Revenue Cycle and Credentialing staff.\n, • Assign duties, review work, establish goals, and monitor team performance.\n, • Oversee billing, coding, collections, and denial management processes.\n, • Monitor revenue cycle performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.\n, • Support reimbursement audits, compliance initiatives, and process improvements.\n, • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CPT, ICD-10, Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer requirements.\n, • Monitor AR aging, clean claim rates, denial trends, underpayments, and reimbursement performance.\n, • Support Medicaid WRAP activity, LOA billing workflows, and payer reimbursement processes.\n, • Work with Patient Access, Dental, Medical, Behavioral Health, Finance, and IT teams to resolve billing and workflow issues.\n, • Monitor data accuracy between Dental and Medical EMR/software platforms.\n, • Oversee provider credentialing and re-credentialing, including applications, renewals, and primary source verification.\n, • Monitor provider licenses, certifications, DEA registrations, insurance coverage, and credential expiration dates.\n, • Maintain compliance with federal, state, payer, HRSA, and NCQA credentialing standards.\n, • Serve as a liaison between providers, payers, regulatory agencies, and internal departments.\n, • Prepare credentialing and revenue cycle reports for leadership.\n, • Train staff on FQHC billing, coding, credentialing, and compliance requirements.\n, • Manage competing deadlines, special projects, and a high-volume workload. \nRequired Experience/Skills for the Supervisor of Revenue Cycle and Credentialing:\n \n \n\n • 5 - 7 years of healthcare billing experience in a primary care setting.\n, • 3 - 5 years of experience in provider credentialing or enrollment.\n, • At least 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience.\n, • Strong understanding of healthcare billing, reimbursement, and revenue cycle operations.\n, • Experience with provider enrollment, credentialing, and re-credentialing.\n, • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and commercial insurance billing.\n, • Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding principles.\n, • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n, • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.\n, • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. \nPreferred Experience/Skills for the Supervisor of Revenue Cycle and Credentialing:\n \n \n\n • Experience working in an FQHC or similar healthcare setting.\n, • Athena EHR experience.\n, • Experience with FQHC billing, HRSA requirements, LOA, grants, and related assistance programs.\n, • Certified Professional Coder (CPC).\n, • Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) and/or Certified Professional Medical Services Manager (CPMSM).\n, • Bilingual proficiency.\n, • Strong experience with process improvement and workflow optimization. \nEducation Requirements \n\n • Bachelor’s degree is preferred, or a combination of education and 5 - 7 years of relevant revenue cycle and credentialing experience. \nBenefits \n\n • Atrium Care Package available, upon eligibility (including healthcare plans, discount programs, and paid time off). \n
