Job Description Job Title: Warehouse Associate Job Description This Warehouse Associate position offers the opportunity to perform hands-on, general labor work in a fast-paced warehouse environment supporting a major aviation account. You will handle high-value aerospace parts, ensure accurate inventory and shipment processing, and contribute to a logistics operation experiencing significant growth and advancement opportunities. Responsibilities • Perform general labor tasks in a busy warehouse environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail., • Support an aviation logistics account by handling parts and materials specific to aerospace operations., • Pull aviation and airport parts based on precise part numbers, following established procedures to avoid errors., • Wrap and protect high-value products using appropriate techniques and adhesives, beyond standard bubble wrap, to ensure safe transport of items that may be worth hundreds of thousands of dollars., • Process incoming shipments by verifying quantities, part numbers, and documentation, and accurately recording items in the warehouse management system., • Process outgoing shipments by picking, packing, labeling, and staging orders in accordance with customer and aviation industry requirements., • Perform cycle counts regularly to maintain accurate inventory levels and promptly reconcile discrepancies., • Utilize the RamCo system and other warehouse management systems (such as WMS and SAP) to track inventory, orders, and shipments., • Pick and pack orders efficiently while maintaining quality standards and meeting productivity expectations., • Load and unload materials and products safely, following warehouse procedures and guidelines., • Collaborate with a large team on each shift to meet operational goals and support a growing aviation logistics account., • Follow all warehouse safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area. Essential Skills • 1–2 years of recent logistics experience within an aviation company., • Demonstrated experience working in aviation logistics, handling aerospace parts or materials., • Experience in warehouse operations, including picking, packing, loading, unloading, and general labor., • Experience with inventory management activities such as order picking, cycle counting, and stock reconciliation., • Ability to accurately interpret and work with aviation and airport part numbers., • Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and related software, with exposure to SAP preferred., • Capability to use RamCo or similar systems to manage inventory and orders., • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling high-value parts and processing shipments., • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity and quality standards., • Reliable teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate with a large warehouse team. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Logistics experience in aerospace environments such as major aircraft or aviation companies is strongly preferred., • Previous experience with organizations like Airbus, Gulfstream, Pratt, Bombardier, or Frontier is ideal., • Comfort working in a mostly non–climate-controlled warehouse environment., • Experience with general labor tasks including picking, packing, inventory control, order picking, and cycle counts., • Familiarity with warehouse processes for loading and unloading shipments., • Flexibility to work various shifts, including early morning, afternoon, evening, and potential Thursday–Sunday schedules., • Ability to learn and apply different product wrapping techniques and use adhesives to protect sensitive, high-value parts., • Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow established procedures and documentation requirements. Work Environment You work in a warehouse setting that is mostly non–climate controlled, with some partially climate-controlled areas. Each shift operates with a team of approximately 50–100 people, creating a collaborative and energetic atmosphere. The role involves standing, walking, lifting, picking, packing, loading, and unloading throughout the shift, using warehouse management systems such as RamCo, WMS, and SAP to manage inventory and orders. Multiple shifts are available, including 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m., and 10:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m. on schedules such as Sunday–Thursday or Wednesday–Saturday, with potential Thursday–Sunday options. The dress code is casual and practical, typically shorts, t-shirt, and tennis shoes, suited to the active warehouse environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irving, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
