Commercial Property Solicitor / Legal Executive \n\n • Location: Devon\n, • Job Type: Full-time\n\n Join our client, a team of dedicated legal professionals providing expert support and advice to schools and Trusts. They are committed to delivering friendly, professional, and pragmatic support. They are currently seeking a highly motivated Property Solicitor or Legal Executive to join their team in Devon. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and progress your career within a supportive and dynamic environment. \n Day-to-day of the role: \n\n • Manage your own caseload under supervision, as appropriate.\n, • Support the team in individual transactions and as part of wider project teams.\n, • Handle tasks including opening case files, giving cost estimates to new clients, and recording time in accordance with the firm’s policy.\n, • Conduct title reviews, draft and negotiate leases and transfers.\n, • Obtain and report on title information from the Land Registry and deal with Land Registry requisitions.\n, • Assist in managing both commercial property matters and residential conveyancing transactions.\n, • Obtain and report on property searches, attend meetings, make notes, and prepare SDLT forms.\n, • Promote the firm’s vision and values when interacting with clients.\n, • Maintain up-to-date knowledge through relevant publications and training.\n, • Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by the Partners.\n\n Required Skills & Qualifications: \n\n • Relevant qualification (qualified as a solicitor or a legal executive) or directly related work experience.\n, • Experience in organising workloads to achieve priorities and objectives.\n, • Good knowledge of property processes and procedures.\n, • Excellent customer service skills and a solution-focused approach to work.\n, • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop successful working relationships.\n, • Ability to plan, organise, and prioritise to meet deadlines.\n, • Excellent attention to detail and good IT skills.\n, • Willingness to work flexibly and independently.\n, • Commitment to promoting the ethos and values of PHP Law, including high standards in relation to equality, diversity, and inclusion.\n\n Benefits: \n\n • Opportunity to work in a supportive team environment with potential for career progression.\n, • Training and development opportunities.\n, • Competitive salary and benefits package.\n\n To apply for this Property Solicitor / Legal Executive position, please submit your CV and cover letter detailing your relevant experience and why you are interested in this position.
