Job Description Pay: £42,000.00 per year Basic Pay /n Job description: /n EV Installation Engineer – Join Riviera Electrical /n Are you a qualified EV Installation Engineer looking for your next opportunity? /n Due to continued growth and increasing demand for electric vehicle charging infrastructure, Riviera Electrical are looking for skilled, motivated, and customer-focused EV Installation Engineers to join our team across Devon and the South West. /n We are offering: /n /n - A full-time employed position /n - Opportunities for self-employed engineers to support our growing workload. /n - Competitive rates of pay with consistent work available throughout the year. /n - Ongoing training and development within the rapidly expanding EV sector. /n/n About the Role /n As an EV Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of electric vehicle charging equipment at domestic and commercial properties. /n You will be representing Riviera Electrical on-site, delivering high-quality installations while providing excellent customer service and ensuring all work complies with current industry standards and regulations. /n Key Responsibilities /n /n - Installation and commissioning of EV charging equipment at domestic and commercial premises. /n - Conducting site assessments and identifying suitable cable routes and charger locations. /n - Installing containment systems, cabling, protective devices, and associated electrical infrastructure. /n - Testing and inspecting completed installations. /n - Completing all certification and commissioning documentation accurately. /n - Diagnosing faults and carrying out remedial works where required. /n - Ensuring compliance with BS7671 Wiring Regulations, manufacturer requirements, and health and safety procedures. /n - Providing clear handovers and demonstrations to customers following installation. /n - Maintaining company standards of workmanship, professionalism, and customer care. /n/n RequirementsEssential /n /n - Full UK Driving Licence. /n - 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. /n - Experience in carrying out electrical EV installations. /n - Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities. /n - Excellent customer service and communication skills. /n - Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively. /n/n Desirable /n /n - EV Charging Qualification (City & Guilds 2919 or equivalent). /n - Inspection and Testing Qualification (2391 or equivalent). /n - ECS Gold Card. /n - Experience installing EV charge points, including: /n - Hypervolt /n - Ohme /n - Zappi /n - Easee /n/n Benefits (Employed Roles) /n /n - Company van. /n - Company Credit card. /n - Company pension. /n - Private Health Care, Including Optical And Dental /n - Uniform and PPE provided. /n - 42-hour working week /n/n Job Type: Full-time or Subcontractor /n Salary: £42,000 per year Basic Pay /n Overtime Opportunities are always available /n Licence/Certification /n /n - Full UK Driving Licence (required). /n - 18th Edition (required). /n - EV Charging Qualification (preferred). /n/n Work Location /n /n - Field-based across Devon and the South West. /n/n If you are passionate about renewable technology and want to be part of the UK's transition to electric vehicles, we'd love to hear from you. /n Riviera Electrical Limited /n Benefits: /n /n - Company pension /n - Private medical insurance /n/n
