    We are seeking a Chef to join our wonderful team at Hamd House School. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality, nutritious meals that support the health, wellbeing, and development of our pupils.     To ensure that reception and administration duties at the Foyer are carried out efficiently, effectively, and with professionalism; maintaining good communications with others and supporting the management team. Whilst this is an Admin role, you will be taking an active part in working with the young people at the Foyer. Summary of Duties: Reception & administrative duties · As first point of contact at the Foyer, provide a professional, friendly and caring welcome to the service. · Answer, direct and deal with telephone calls and enquiries, including referrals to the service. · Ensure all referrals are completed promptly within the specified time scale to include appropriate referral checks, assessments, completion of necessary paperwork for service users including induction and assist management team with risk assessments/support plans. · Assist service users with enquiries and requests, e.g. rent payments, reporting repairs, use of laundry and other facilities. · Receive and direct professionals, contractors, and other visitors to the Foyer, ensuring the security of the site is upheld. · Take an active part in the void management process. · Contribute to the daily events and ensure relevant handover to colleagues, including night concierge. · Ensure all Safeguarding concerns are reported immediately to the management team and complete Safeguarding referrals when required. · Check and update computer records, including but not limited to data entry onto the SASSHA (Housing Management) and Dudley Gateway system. · Ensure property keys are logged in/out to authorised persons as per procedure. · Process incoming and outgoing post. · Carry out general office duties including photocopying, producing correspondence, completing forms & registers & filing. To include the completion of: o Housing Benefit/Universal Credit claims, Client/CORE forms, Supported Housing Exempt forms. · Assist with procurement and stock management of stationery and other supplies. · Manage and maintain spreadsheets used within the team. · Monitoring and the distribution of petty cash. · Manage the booking system for the Foyer’s meeting rooms. · Ensure service users files are archived and/or destroyed as required in line with GDPR. · Provide general administration support to the team. This includes: o Monthly activity calendar, general notice boards, organising events/activities, staff rota. Health & Safety · Observe and comply with the Health and Safety Policy. · Report any emergency repairs, hazards or accidents and act at all times in accordance with CHADD safety procedures. · Assist with reporting repairs & maintenance as per procedure. General · Undertake other tasks or duties which may be required from time to time or routinely. · Comply with CHADD policies & procedures. · Undertake skills development, training and supervision as and when necessary for the effective performance of the job role. · Attend and contribute to staff meetings. · Be committed to anti-discriminatory practices. · Ensure confidentiality at all times. · Assist in such other areas as are reasonably required for the effective running of the Association.
