This is a great opportunity to play a key role in managing supplier relationships across a Surveying & Minor Works function, using your procurement experience to support compliant, cost-effective and high-quality services that make a real difference to residents.If youve also worked in the following roles, wed also like to hear from you: Contract Manager, Supplier Manager, Vendor Manager, Supplier Performance Manager, Procurement Manager, Commercial Manager, Contracts Manager, Procurement Contracts Manager, Supplier Governance Manager, Supply Chain ManagerSALARY: £48,000 to £53,474 per annum + BenefitsLOCATION: Hybrid working partly from the office in Staines, Surrey (TW18) and partly from homeJOB TYPE: Full-Time, PermanentWORKING HOURS: 35 Hours - Monday to FridayJOB OVERVIEWTake ownership of a role where procurement, supplier performance and contract governance come together to support high-quality surveying and minor works services for residents.As the Supplier Relationship Manager you will lead supplier relationships, contract compliance and procurement-led governance across the Surveying & Minor Works team.The Supplier Relationship Manager will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, contractors, Procurement, Legal and Finance to oversee contract delivery, manage escalations, support audits and ensure services meet contractual, regulatory and procurement requirements.This Supplier Relationship Manager role will use KPIs, SLAs, performance data and reporting frameworks to identify risk, improve service quality, support cost efficiency and promote supplier accountability.DUTIESYour duties as the Supplier Relationship Manager include:Supplier and Contract Management: Manage supplier relationships, contract delivery, mobilisation, performance reviews and ongoing governance across the Surveying & Minor Works portfolioProcurement Compliance: Ensure supplier activity, contract management and governance processes comply with procurement legislation, the Procurement Act and internal policiesPerformance and Service Improvement: Monitor KPIs, SLAs and supplier performance data to identify risks, resolve issues and drive continuous improvementCommercial Oversight: Monitor contract spend, support forecasting, validate invoices and variations, and identify cost-saving opportunitiesStakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal teams, Procurement, Legal, Finance, suppliers, contractors and senior stakeholders to support effective contract deliveryCompliance and Audit Support: Maintain accurate documentation, governance logs and audit-ready evidence, supporting operational, financial, health and safety and procurement reviewsSocial Value and Risk Management: Track social value commitments, promote responsible procurement and manage supplier, procurement and delivery risksTeam Leadership: Line manage Supplier Relationship Coordinators, supporting effective performance, organisation and deliveryCANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSEssential procurement experience, with a strong understanding of compliant procurement processes, supplier governance and contract managementStrong experience in supplier relationship management, contract management and supplier performance monitoringExperience within social housing or a similar regulated environmentKnowledge of procurement legislation, regulatory requirements and the Procurement ActStrong commercial awareness, including budgets, purchase orders, invoices, variations and financial oversightConfident using KPIs, SLAs, reporting data and contract terms to challenge performance and support improvementExcellent communication, stakeholder management and relationship-building skillsStrong organisational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records, trackers, governance logs and audit-ready evidenceAbility to identify risk, manage escalations and work effectively with internal teams, suppliers, contractors, auditors and senior stakeholdersEducated to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and EnglishBENEFITS25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, rising to 28 days after serviceUp to 8% contributory pensionA generous annual wellbeing allowance of up to £300 for health and lifestyle benefits for you and your familyAccess to a wide range of staff discountsInvestment in your learning and developmentCycle to Work Scheme with access to cycling equipment throughout the year, paid via monthly salary deductionsThe organisation recognises that some people will only apply for a role if they meet 100% of role requirements.If this sounds like you, theyd still encourage you to apply should you not feel you meet the criteria 100%.This role requires a DBS CheckAPPLY TODAYBy submitting your job application to us you are hereby giving us your express consent to submit your details to our Client for this purpose.JOB REF: AWDO-P14975Full-Time, Permanent Jobs, Careers and Vacancies.
