11875 - 40 hour - Accuracy Checker - Permanent contractWe are looking to recruit a 40-hour Accuracy Checker to work at our 021-branch located 12/13 Marian Square, Bootle, Liverpool, L30 5QA.As a Qualified Accuracy Checker, you will enhance the pharmaceutical care of the patient by providing essential safety checking functions on dispensed items.You will need to carry out final checks of listed dispensed medicines and products that are clinically approved by a pharmacist. You'll have a solid understanding of how to interpret patient details, legal requirements and information governance, and work in line with standard operating procedures (SOPs). You'll also have the skills to provide feedback to others and identify opportunities to minimise errors, contributing to a patient safety culture in the workplace.You will also be responsible for ensuring that our high standards of customer care and services are maintained throughout the branch.You must be confident in building customer relationships, establishing their needs, providing friendly advice and excellent product knowledge and services. You must also have the drive and enthusiasm to want to coach others in your branch to do the same.The utmost attention to detail is required in this role along with the ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.You must have a passion for Pharmacy, in order to drive the business forward and have great people skills, as this is paramount to your role. You will be required to work as part of a well-established team and ensure our customers receive a high standard of service.Proof of your completion of the Accuracy Checking Course (ACT Qualification) is essential.
