Salary up to £26,000 per annum \n Based in Exeter \n Litigation Paralegal role \n \n We're working with a well-established law firm who are looking to recruit a Litigation Paralegal to join their expanding Litigation & Employment team in Exeter. The team acts for a wide range of regional and national clients, including businesses, charities, housing associations and high net worth individuals. \n \n This is a varied role offering exposure to disputed trusts and wills, intellectual property, data protection, business and property disputes, breach of contract matters and other areas of litigation. It would suit someone looking to develop their litigation experience and gain exposure to cases from start to finish. \n \n Responsibilities include: \n\n • Fielding initial enquiries and assisting with the onboarding of new clients.\n, • Dealing with client enquiries and supporting lawyers with ongoing matters.\n, • Assisting with pre-action correspondence and taking proofs of evidence.\n, • Preparing documents and court bundles.\n, • Tracking deadlines and assisting with general case management.\n, • Carrying out legal research and supporting the wider litigation team.\n, • Assisting with the creation of legal Insights and marketing materials.\n, • Liaising with clients and attending meetings and court hearings where appropriate.\n\n \n What we need from you: \n\n • Previous experience in a litigation or legal support role would be beneficial, although applications from candidates with a genuine interest in litigation will be considered.\n, • Good communication skills and confidence dealing with clients.\n, • Excellent organisation and the ability to manage competing deadlines.\n, • A practical approach to problem solving.\n, • Ability to work as part of a team and support colleagues.\n, • An interest in developing a career within litigation.\n\n \n The perks: \n\n • Salary up to £26,000 per annum.\n, • Hybrid working environment.\n, • 36.25 hours per week.\n, • Training and professional development opportunities.\n, • Regular team training and development.\n, • Flexible working arrangements.\n, • Supportive working environment with a focus on colleague wellbeing.\n, • Opportunity to gain experience across a broad range of litigation matters.\n\n
