Summary of Role: \n This role is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the P&C team across all UK locations. Based in Perivale and Ruislip, the role will support the whole People & Culture team. \n \n The Primary Duties: \n \n\n • Administering Contracts and Offer letters for both new starters and individuals’ changing jobs internally\n, • Supporting line managers in employee relation cases with note-taking and other administrative support\n, • Administering the return-to-work paperwork for colleagues who have been off sick to ensure that they are paid correctly and on time\n, • Filing and maintaining both electronic and paper-based employee records\n, • Production of Management Information for HR Reporting on a regular basis to enable us to monitor our KPIs\n, • Conducting pre-employment reference checks on time and in full for New Starters\n, • Monitoring the Annual Leave taken across the business and ensuring that the Leave Portal information is correct\n, • Supporting colleagues throughout their Employee lifecycle\n, • Collecting additional Right-to-Work documents as necessary to ensure compliance with UK legislation and maintaining the tracker for work permit visas\n, • Liaising with Payroll to ensure that employee details are correct\n, • Managing the HR Inbox to ensure that all queries and issues are resolved or are escalated to the right person\n\n \n The Secondary Duties: \n\n • Provide ad-hoc support on recruitment administration activity when required.\n, • Support the wider HR team on key projects and change management initiatives.\n\n \n Essential Experience, Skills and Abilities: \n \n\n • At least 1 year’s administrative experience in a fast-paced HR team\n, • Strong knowledge of Microsoft office (Word and Excel)\n, • Strong written and verbal communication skills\n, • Proactive and the ability to identify and resolve problems\n, • Confident liaising with senior managers\n, • Able to work on their own initiative and in a team\n, • Able to manage their time well\n, • Able to be calm, patient and assertive\n, • Able to adapt to change\n, • High accuracy levels and attention to detail\n, • Willingness to learn and grow within the HR team\n, • Able to act as an ambassador for the HR function and the B&S vision, values and best practice\n, • A strong team player who is able to adapt quickly to changing priorities\n\n
