Corporate Attorney Position: Corporate Attorney Type: Hourly Contract Compensation: $90–$100/hour Location: Remote About the OpportunityThis opportunity is for experienced Corporate Attorneys with expertise in M&A, corporate governance, securities and capital markets, deal structuring, commercial contracts, and corporate restructuring to contribute to advanced AI research and evaluation projects.Youll apply your legal expertise to design realistic corporate law scenarios, evaluate AI-generated legal work, develop reference outputs, and create structured evaluation frameworks that capture the judgment and reasoning of experienced corporate lawyers.The role supports both US and International corporate law tracks, including Delaware corporate law, SEC regulations, the Model Business Corporation Act, UK Companies Act 2006, and EU company law directives. No prior AI experience is required.ResponsibilitiesDesign realistic corporate law scenarios involving complex M&A transactions, deal negotiations, regulatory reviews, governance matters, and corporate restructuring.Develop evaluation tasks covering M&A and deal structuring, securities and capital markets, corporate governance, commercial contracts, and corporate restructuring.Evaluate AI-generated legal analyses, transaction documents, legal memoranda, and regulatory assessments for accuracy and professional quality.Apply expertise in due diligence, transaction structuring, regulatory filings, board/shareholder oversight, and corporate governance.Develop legal scenarios involving professional tools such as Westlaw, Lexis, virtual data rooms, contract lifecycle management platforms, and document automation systems.Produce reference legal memoranda, transaction documents, and client- or regulator-facing narratives.Create structured evaluation rubrics that distinguish authentic corporate legal judgment from basic legal knowledge or law-school-level reasoning.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to maintain legal accuracy, consistency, and evaluation quality.Required Qualifications5+ years of professional experience as a Corporate Attorney, Corporate Counsel, or General Counsel.Strong experience with M&A transactions, corporate governance, securities, capital markets, or corporate restructuring.Direct experience handling complex transactions, regulatory matters, due diligence, corporate filings, or board/shareholder matters.Strong understanding of applicable corporate law, regulatory requirements, transaction structures, and legal methodologies.JD with bar admission or an equivalent international professional qualification, such as Solicitor or Qualified Lawyer in England & Wales.Excellent legal reasoning, analytical, research, and written communication skills.Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.Preferred QualificationsExperience at a major law firm, investment bank, public company, or sophisticated in-house legal department.Experience with M&A, securities filings, SEC regulations, antitrust/HSR review, or international corporate regulatory frameworks.Familiarity with Westlaw, Lexis, Intralinks, Datasite, CLM platforms, and legal document automation tools.Experience creating legal training materials, evaluation rubrics, transaction documentation, or professional legal curricula.Experience working with AI, machine learning, legal technology, legal data annotation, or AI model evaluation.Expertise in both US and international corporate law is an advantage.CompensationCompetitive compensation of $90–$100/hour.Weekly payments via Stripe or Wise.Independent contractor engagement.Fully remote with flexible scheduling.Application ProcessEasy Apply on LinkedInCheck Email for Next StepsComplete the required assessment based on your professional backgroundParticipate in the interview/evaluation stageHiring team review
