Technician – Gas Turbines Warwick £42,000.00 - £46,000.00 per annum plus exceptional benefits Permanent Days – Flexible shifts Our client is investing heavily in new talent and they’re looking for a Gas Turbine Technician/Mechanic who wants a long‑term, stable career in a niche and highly respected engineering environment. You’ll work on Honeywell 131‑9 and ALF 502/507 engines, supporting strip, build, inspection and test activity within a close‑knit, high‑standards team. What you’ll be doing • Strip, build, inspect and test gas turbine production engines, • Routine maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs, • Disassembly and assembly of complex components, • Testing and commissioning, • Interpreting technical data, manuals and engineering instructions, • Using a variety of tooling, CNC machinery and workshop equipment, • Maintaining documentation, traceability and compliance to Part‑145 standards Essential skills (non‑negotiable) • Current, hands‑on mechanical experience (within the last 12 months), • Strong IT capability — daily use of Access databases and digital documentation, • Ability to work both independently and as part of a tight team, • Confident interpreting technical manuals, drawings and data, • Willingness to rotate between departments and learn new areas as the business evolves, • Commitment to long‑term development — they invest heavily in training and expect the same dedication in return Ideal backgrounds The business operates in a niche sector, so we welcome candidates from comparable environments: • Aviation / Aerospace (Part‑145, MRO, APU, engine shop), • Vehicle technicians with strong mechanical strip/build skills who want to transition into aerospace, • Industrial turbine, rotating machinery, precision engineering or CNC backgrounds If you understand the importance of tool control, documentation accuracy and engineering discipline, you’ll fit in well.
