Plumber (Domestic Housing Association) Location: Melksham Salary: £25 – 30 Phr Job Type: Full-time, (2 Years) Hours: 40 hours per week About the Role We are seeking an experienced and reliable Plumber to join our team working across a portfolio of domestic housing association properties. This is a two-year fixed-term contract providing planned maintenance, repairs, and installation work within occupied residential homes. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a high-quality service to tenants, ensuring all plumbing work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities • Carry out plumbing repairs and maintenance in occupied and void domestic properties., • Install, repair, and replace pipework, taps, toilets, baths, showers, sinks, and associated fittings., • Diagnose faults and complete remedial works in a timely manner., • Undertake bathroom and kitchen plumbing installations as required., • Ensure all work complies with current health and safety regulations and company procedures., • Maintain accurate records of work completed using job sheets or handheld devices., • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with tenants and colleagues., • Participate in an on-call rota if required. About You To be successful in this role, you will need: • NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent recognised qualification)., • Proven experience working as a plumber in domestic residential properties., • Experience working within social housing or housing association environments is desirable., • Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively., • Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills., • Full UK driving licence., • Strong communication and customer service skills.
