Senior HR Advisor \n Belfast | Permanent | Professional Services \n Excellent salary & benefits \n \n We are delighted to be partnering with a leading, award-winning professional services organisation to recruit a Senior HR Advisor to join their Belfast team. \n \n This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join a high-performing organisation and play a key role in delivering a proactive, commercially focused HR service. \n \n Working closely with the Belfast partners and wider HR Business Partner teams, the successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor across the full employee lifecycle, supporting managers and employees across a broad range of people matters. This role also offers the opportunity to contribute to wider firmwide HR projects and initiatives. \n \n Top 3 Things to Know About This Job \n ✅ Trusted HR advisor role supporting a leading professional services environment \n ✅ Opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders and HR Business Partner teams \n ✅ Broad generalist remit covering the full employee lifecycle \n \n The Role \n\n • Reporting into the wider HR function, you will provide hands-on HR support to the Belfast office\n, • Acting as the first point of contact and trusted advisor to partners, managers and employees on all HR-related matters\n, • Providing guidance on employee relations matters, performance management, HR policies and best practice\n, • Supporting managers with performance reviews, probation processes and employee development\n, • Managing employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding and probation reviews\n, • Supporting recruitment activity alongside the Talent Acquisition team, including stakeholder management and role requirements\n, • Managing flexible working arrangements, parental leave processes and employee wellbeing initiatives\n, • Supporting absence management processes including return-to-work meetings, occupational health referrals and reasonable adjustments\n, • Working closely with People Operations teams to ensure accurate employee records, contracts and payroll changes\n, • Producing HR reports, management information and insights to support decision making\n, • Supporting annual appraisal, salary review, bonus and promotion processes\n, • Contributing to wider HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives\n\n \n The Person \n\n • Previous experience working in an HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor role\n, • Experience within professional services/ financial services/ legal environment would be highly desirable\n, • Strong knowledge of HR processes, employee relations and employment best practice\n, • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels\n, • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines\n, • Excellent attention to detail and strong numeracy skills\n, • Experience using HR systems and employee databases\n, • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel\n, • A proactive, collaborative approach with a genuine interest in supporting people and culture initiatives\n\n \n The Rewards \n\n • Opportunity to join a leading, award-winning professional services organisation\n, • Permanent HR opportunity based in Belfast\n, • Exposure to senior stakeholders and a global HR function\n, • Broad HR generalist remit with excellent development opportunities\n, • Collaborative and supportive working environment\n, • Opportunity to contribute to company wide people initiatives\n\n \n For further information and to apply for this Senior HR Advisor role, please contact Stephanie Mulholland at Hunter Savage for a confidential discussion. \n \n We reserve the right to heighten shortlisting criteria dependent on the calibre of response.
