Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum (depending on experience) \n Job Type: Full-time \n Location: Factory-based with travel across UK mainland and Channel Islands \n A growing and innovative construction organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Electrician to join its expanding team. \n This is a varied role combining factory-based electrical work with site installation, testing, commissioning, customer liaison and project support. \n The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical installations, working collaboratively with internal teams, customers and site personnel. \n Responsibilities: \n\n • Carry out first fix and second fix electrical installations across factory and customer sites.\n, • Test, inspect and commission electrical installations in line with current regulations and industry standards.\n, • Diagnose and rectify electrical faults efficiently and safely.\n, • Create, update and interpret electrical drawings, layouts and schematics to support project delivery.\n, • Liaise with customers and site teams to discuss electrical requirements, resolve queries and provide practical solutions.\n, • Coordinate electrical requirements throughout projects, ensuring installations meet specifications and customer expectations.\n, • Order electrical materials and manage stock levels to ensure projects are adequately supported.\n, • Maintain accurate records and ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.\n, • Support a clean, organised and safe working environment.\n, • Work independently and collaboratively as part of a wider project team.\n, • Travel to sites across the UK mainland and Channel Islands as required, including occasional overnight stays.\n\n Key Skills & Experience: \n\n • NVQ Level 3 Technical Certificate or equivalent electrical qualification.\n, • City & Guilds 2391 Test and Inspection qualification.\n, • Strong working knowledge of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.\n, • Proven experience carrying out first fix, second fix, testing and fault diagnosis.\n, • Ability to read, interpret and produce electrical drawings and schematics.\n, • Experience ordering materials and managing electrical stock requirements.\n, • Confidence communicating with customers and site teams.\n, • A proactive approach with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.\n, • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.\n\n What’s On Offer: \n\n • Competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience).\n, • Full-time, permanent position.\n, • Opportunity to work on a variety of innovative construction projects.\n, • Supportive and collaborative working environment.\n, • Career development opportunities within a growing organisation.\n\n
