DOMICILIARY CARE WORKERS' DUTIES: To provide personal care and support to Clients with a wide range of needs, illnesses, and disabilities from door to door To assist Clients with toileting, continence management, and personal hygiene To assist clients in getting up in the morning and going to bed at night. To assist Clients with their medication at the agreed level of support and as detailed in their Medication Care Needs Assessment To maintain detailed, accurate records concerning care and medication support given and tasks undertaken To prepare food and drink for the Client, being aware of the Client’s likes/dislikes, nutritional needs, and cultural requirements To provide light general household domestic duties, including housework and laundry, as detailed in the care plan or instructed by Management To observe all health & safety rules and take reasonable care to promote the health and safety of self and others, and raise any concerns to the Field Care Supervisor. Any other duties requested by senior management that are within the scope of the post. DOMICILIARY CARE WORKERS' SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES: Skilled in assisting with bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming while preserving dignity and privacy. Experienced in administering medication safely, monitoring health conditions, and following care plans. Trained in the safe use of hoists, mobility aids, and transferring techniques to prevent injury. Builds trusting relationships with clients and families through active listening, empathy, and clear communication. Accurately documents care provided using care logs or digital systems, and maintains confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times. Female Carer Only – NR8 Area | No Visa Sponsorship Insight Care Agency Ltd is urgently seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and reliable female carer to support a lovely elderly gentleman living with dementia in the NR8 area. The role involves providing high-quality personal care, companionship, and support to promote the client’s comfort, dignity, independence, and overall wellbeing. Please note: This is a female-only position, and we do not offer visa sponsorship. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship. Working Hours This is an ongoing part-time placement. The successful candidate must be able to commit to the following hours: Monday: 2 hours between 4:30 PM and 6:30 PM Wednesday: 4 hours — 6:30 AM–8:30 AM and 4:30 PM–6:30 PM Saturday: 2 hours between 4:30 PM and 6:30 PM Sunday: 4 hours — 8:00 AM–10:00 AM and 4:30 PM–6:30 PM Total: 12 hours per week Please note that additional hours may occasionally be available or requested, depending on the client’s needs. Health & Safety Follow all health and safety policies, safeguarding procedures, and infection control guidelines. Take reasonable care to ensure safety for yourself and the client, and report concerns to the Field Care Supervisor.
