Interim Events & Communications Manager (6 months) £40-45k Depending on experience London/Remote VR/10579 This is an exciting, brand-new opportunity working for a well-established, growing organisation who are at the heart of making a positive impact across the country. As their interim Events & Communications Manager, you will support the organisation in delivering their marketing and events programme during a critically busy time This is a senior, hands-on role where you will act as the central coordination point across communications and events, bringing structure, consistency, and strategic oversight to a busy and varied programme. Your skills within strategic planning and practical delivery, including on-the-ground support at events and direct content creation will be invaluable within this six-month contract Your role will involve: • Leading integrated communications and marketing activities, • Taking ownership of the organisation’s events programme, • Ensuring a clear, consistent brand identity, • Growing organisational profile, stakeholder engagement, and impact, • Campaign delivery and content oversight, • Events programme leadership, • Event planning and delivery, both in person and digitally, • Content, messaging and event integration, • Digital and brand management, • Resource management, • Planning coordination and process improvement, • Monitoring, evaluation and continuous improvement You will be the ideal candidate due to your: • Proven experience in a senior communications, marketing, or events role, • Experience delivering end-to-end events programmes and high-quality in-person events, • Strong background in marketing, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, • Experience managing campaigns, content pipelines, and editorial planning, • Strong understanding of digital platforms (CMS, CRM, social media, analytics tools), • Knowledge of branding and design tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe, SharePoint), • Experience working with senior stakeholders and external partners, • Highly organised, self-starter, able to manage multiple priorities, • Experience managing suppliers, • Ability to operate in environments with high-profile public sector audiences This is a great chance to join a fun, supportive team within a growing, ambitious organisation with a hugely positive impact.
