Responsibilities • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse., • Load and unload materials from trucks and staging areas across the facility., • Handle wood-based and foam products, ensuring proper placement and storage., • Perform general labor tasks, including lifting products and materials up to 50 lbs., • Use a tablet or handheld device to scan inventory and maintain accurate records., • Support shipping and receiving activities by organizing and staging materials., • Follow all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines at all times., • Work effectively within a team of 20–25 employees to meet daily production and distribution goals., • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency., • Adhere to the required second shift schedule, including some Saturdays as needed. Essential Skills • At least 1 year of experience working in a distribution or warehouse environment., • Proven experience operating a forklift in a production or warehouse setting., • Ability to perform general labor tasks, including consistent lifting of up to 50 lbs., • Experience with material handling, loading, and unloading in a warehouse., • Ability to use a tablet or handheld device for inventory scanning and tracking., • High school diploma or GED., • Ability to work the required split second shift schedule., • Strong reliability and attendance, consistently showing up ready to work., • Understanding of basic warehouse safety practices and willingness to follow them.
