Job DescriptionFull-Time | $18–$23/hr Based on Experience + Tips & Performance Incentives | Monday–Friday | No Weekends Furniture Handling or Moving Experience Strongly Preferred The Delivery Source is looking for a dependable, experienced team member with hands-on furniture handling experience. If you have worked in furniture delivery, moving, furniture installation, furniture receiving, a furniture warehouse, home furnishings, or a similar hands-on role, we want to hear from you. We are a locally owned furniture receiving, storage, delivery, and installation company serving interior designers, builders, businesses, and homeowners throughout Northeast Florida. This is a hybrid position. Depending on the schedule, some days you may work in our warehouse receiving and preparing furniture, while other days you will work with our delivery and installation team at client locations. Why Join Our Team? • Monday–Friday schedule — no weekend work, • Weekly pay, • $18–$23/hour based on relevant experience, • Opportunities to earn tips and performance-based incentives, • Variety between warehouse, delivery, assembly, and installation work, • Opportunity to develop additional furniture handling, installation, warehouse, and leadership skills, • Work with a small local company where reliability and quality work are noticed and valuedWhat You'll Do Furniture Delivery & Installation • Safely handle, load, transport, unload, assemble, and place furniture and home furnishings, • Protect furniture and client property throughout the delivery process, • Inspect furniture before loading, unloading, and installation, • Properly pad, wrap, secure, and load furniture for transportation, • Assemble and install furniture when required, • Place furniture according to client or designer direction, • Remove packaging and leave job sites clean, • Provide friendly, professional customer service while working in homes and businessesWarehouse, • Receive and inspect incoming furniture and furnishings, • Identify and report damage, defects, shortages, or discrepancies, • Unpack and prepare furniture for inspection when needed, • Label, organize, and maintain inventory locations, • Pull and stage furniture for upcoming deliveries, • Assist with minor furniture adjustments or repairs when trained and assigned, • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouseExperience We're Looking For Professional furniture-handling experience is one of our most important qualifications. A background as a mover can be an excellent fit for this position, especially if you have experience safely handling furniture inside homes, loading trucks, protecting pieces from damage, and working as part of a delivery crew. Other relevant experience may include: • Furniture delivery, • Moving companies, • Furniture installation, • White-glove delivery, • Furniture stores, • Furniture receiving or warehousing, • Interior design installation, • Home furnishings, • Furniture assembly or repairWe're especially interested in candidates who already understand how to:, • Safely maneuver large or awkward furniture, • Protect furniture while loading, transporting, and placing it, • Properly wrap, pad, and secure furniture, • Navigate doorways, stairs, elevators, and occupied homes, • Assemble furniture and use basic hand and power tools, • Recognize potential damage or problems and speak up before proceedingWhat We're Looking For, • Dependable and consistently on time, • Takes pride in doing quality work, • Strong attention to detail, • Works efficiently without sacrificing care, • Communicates well with teammates and supervisors, • Comfortable interacting professionally with clients, • Takes responsibility for their work, • Willing to learn our procedures and improve their skills, • Works well as part of a teamPhysical Requirements This is an active, hands-on position. Applicants must be able to: • Safely assist with lifting and maneuvering heavy furniture, including items weighing over 100 lbs. using team lifting and appropriate equipment, • Stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, reach, and climb stairs throughout the workday, • Maneuver furniture through homes, doorways, stairways, and confined spaces, • Work indoors and outdoors in varying temperaturesSchedule & Pay, • Full-time, • Monday–Friday, • Shifts generally fall between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM, • No regular weekends, • $18.00–$23.00 per hour based on relevant experience, • Paid weekly, • Tips may be earned on client deliveries and installations, • Opportunity to qualify for additional performance-based incentives, • Occasional overtime may be availableCandidates with strong furniture delivery, moving, installation, assembly, or professional furniture-handling experience may qualify toward the higher end of the starting range.
