Job DescriptionJob Title: Warehouse Associate I$19- $20/hr Job Description The Warehouse Associate I plays a key role in ensuring the efficient, accurate, and safe movement of products throughout the warehouse. Working under direct supervision, this position focuses on unloading, organizing, assembling, and shipping products while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities • Unload, organize, and perform quality inspections on incoming products to ensure they meet required standards., • Update inventory records accurately in accordance with company policies and procedures., • Locate, pick, inspect, and load products for customer orders, ensuring precise and timely order fulfillment., • Assemble tire and wheel packages, including proper mounting and balancing to meet customer specifications., • Apply tire studs, shave, or heat cycle tires as required to fulfill specific customer requirements., • Handle and inspect returned products, update inventory records, and process returns in line with company policies., • Pick and deliver products for onsite customer pick-up and will-call orders., • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, turrets, and other warehouse equipment while following all safety guidelines., • Maintain clean, organized workspaces and comply with required personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety standards., • Complete training on advanced product knowledge and adhere to safety and conduct policies as outlined in the employee handbook., • Accurately read labels and organize products, including categorizing by order type, tire type (e.g., regular, run-flat), and position (left or right tire)., • Identify and correct discrepancies in order fulfillment to prevent shipping errors and maintain customer satisfaction., • Support teammates by offering assistance and promoting a collaborative, positive work environment., • Perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shift, including lifting, rolling, stacking, and organizing heavier or bulkier items., • Use RF scanners and other warehouse tools to cross-reference labels and physical products for accurate shipping and receiving., • Check in tires, verify order accuracy, tape and band tires together for shipment in the shipping department., • Pick tires from rack locations and place them onto pallets, maintaining an expected average of approximately 850 pieces per day in the order picking area., • Mount tires onto wheels, balance assemblies, and package completed orders in the mount and balance department., • Maintain steady productivity, attention to detail, and reliability across all assigned tasks and departments. Essential Skills • Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not required., • Ability to accurately read, identify, label, and organize products to ensure precise order fulfillment., • Capability to manage assigned tasks efficiently so products are received, stored, and shipped in a timely manner., • Willingness to collaborate with colleagues, assist team members, and maintain a positive, team-oriented work environment., • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, rolling, stacking, and moving materials throughout the shift., • Comfort operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, turrets, and similar material handling equipment., • Strong attention to detail to verify order accuracy, categorize products correctly, and ensure quality in mounting and balancing operations., • Dependability and the ability to work at a steady pace while meeting productivity expectations., • Comfort performing repetitive, physical tasks in a fast-paced environment., • Basic inventory, shipping, and receiving skills, including using RF scanners and cross-referencing labels with physical products. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Manufacturing and assembly experience in a warehouse or similar environment., • Experience working with tires and wheels, including mounting, balancing, and packaging assemblies., • Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes, including checking in products and preparing them for shipment., • Ability to categorize products by order type, tire type (regular, run-flat, etc.), and tire position (left or right)., • Previous experience in mount and balance operations is preferred but not required, as training can be provided., • Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain tidy, efficient work areas., • Commitment to following safety policies, PPE requirements, and conduct guidelines as outlined in company procedures. Work Environment This role is based in a busy warehouse environment with multiple departments and set schedules. Order Picking associates typically work Monday through Friday between approximately 7:30 a.m./9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m./6:00 p.m., focusing on picking tires from rack locations, placing them onto pallets, and averaging around 850 pieces per day. Shipping Department associates generally work Monday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., checking in tires, verifying order accuracy, and taping and banding tires together for shipment. Mount and Balance Department associates follow similar hours, mounting tires onto wheels, balancing assemblies, and packaging completed orders. The environment is fast-paced, physical, and hands-on, requiring comfort with repetitive tasks and material handling equipment. Safety is a core focus, with required use of PPE and adherence to established safety procedures. Dress is practical and appropriate for warehouse work, supporting safe movement, equipment operation, and handling of bulky or heavy items. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MCCARRAN, NV. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
