Location: Philadelphia, PA 19154 (Onsite) Compensation: $80,000 - $95,000 + Bonus LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a reputable organization to identify an FP&A Analyst for its corporate finance team. This position will play a critical role in driving profitability through gross margin analysis, freight cost optimization, vendor rebate management, and strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate will serve as a key business partner to Sales, Purchasing, Operations, and Branch Leadership by providing actionable financial insights that support business decisions, improve operational efficiency, and maximize financial performance across a multi-location distribution environment. • Analyze gross margin performance by Branch, customer, vendor, product category, and salesperson, • Identify margin leakage and provide recommendations to improve profitability, • Develop and maintain customer, product, and vendor profitability reporting, • Support pricing initiatives through financial modeling, scenario analysis, and profitability assessments, • Analyze inbound and outbound freight spending and identify cost recovery and optimization opportunities, • Partner with Operations and Logistics teams to improve freight efficiency and reduce transportation costs, • Track vendor rebate program performance and attainment levels, • Collaborate with Purchasing and Vendor Management teams to maximize rebate earnings and profitability, • Support monthly financial reviews, variance analysis, and management reporting, • Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, • Develop financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools to enhance business visibility, • Present financial findings, trends, and recommendations to Finance and Operational Leadership, • Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to financial reporting, analytics, and decision support, • Provide ad hoc analysis and strategic recommendations to support organizational objectives, • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, • 3+ years of experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, Pricing Analysis, Distribution Finance, Supply Chain Finance, or related financial analysis roles, • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis, • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and financial reporting, • Experience analyzing gross margin, pricing, freight costs, and operational performance metrics, • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business partnering abilities, • Excellent communication and presentation skills, • Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, • Experience within distribution, wholesale, manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain environments, • Experience with Power BI, SQL, ERP systems, and business intelligence tools, • Exposure to pricing strategy, vendor rebate programs, and transportation cost analysis, • Experience building dashboards and automating reporting processes, • Knowledge of large-scale operational or multi-location business environments, • Competitive salary of $80,000 - $90,000, • Bonus eligibility, • High-visibility role partnering directly with business leadership, • Opportunity to drive profitability initiatives and strategic decision-making, • Exposure to pricing, supply chain, logistics, and commercial finance functions, • Stable and growing organization with strong advancement potential This posting is a representative sample of the types of roles we typically place with our clients.
