Job Description Duration: 12+ Months (Possible Extension) Employment Type: Contract Education: Bachelor’s Degree Required Position Summary The Program Support & Enrollment Specialist provides program support and enrollment assistance for the Insurance Assistance Program (IAP) within the Ryan White/ADAP program. This role serves as a primary point of contact for field case managers and program partners, providing real-time assistance with enrollment, eligibility, renewals, insurance participation, and client access to healthcare coverage and HIV medications. The position requires strong healthcare insurance knowledge, excellent customer service skills, the ability to manage high volumes of telephone calls and electronic communications, and experience resolving complex client and program-related issues. Must-Have Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree required., • Experience handling a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls and electronic communications., • Medical insurance experience required., • Experience in healthcare, public health, health insurance, or health administration., • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills., • Experience documenting client interactions and resolving issues., • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic information systems., • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Program Support and Enrollment Assistance • Serve as the primary point of contact for Ryan White field case managers seeking assistance with Insurance Assistance Program enrollment, eligibility, renewals, and participation., • Provide guidance regarding program policies, procedures, documentation requirements, and enrollment processes., • Assist with troubleshooting enrollment barriers and resolving issues that may affect clients’ access to insurance coverage and HIV medications., • Communicate program updates, enrollment requirements, and procedural changes accurately and promptly. Client and Case Management Support • Collaborate with medical case managers throughout Tennessee to identify and resolve ADAP issues affecting HIV/AIDS clients., • Support efforts to remove barriers to healthcare and medication access for eligible clients., • Research and resolve client-specific concerns while ensuring compliance with program guidelines and confidentiality requirements., • Promote a client-centered approach focused on continuity of care and access to treatment. Partner Collaboration and Issue Resolution • Work with Tennessee Department of Health partners, vendors, and management to resolve complex operational and client-related issues., • Escalate and coordinate cases requiring multi-agency or cross-functional involvement., • Identify systemic issues, recurring challenges, and emerging trends affecting program operations and client outcomes., • Provide feedback and recommendations for process improvements that enhance program efficiency and effectiveness. Communication and Customer Service • Manage a high volume of incoming and outgoing telephone calls and electronic communications., • Maintain efficient, consistent, and professional communication with field case managers, TDH staff, healthcare providers, and program partners., • Provide responsive, professional, and solution-focused customer service., • Document interactions, resolutions, and follow-up activities according to established procedures. Operational Excellence and Quality Improvement • Monitor workflows and support operational excellence across the ADAP program., • Assist with quality assurance activities, data validation, and program monitoring initiatives., • Identify opportunities to improve processes, communication, and service delivery., • Participate in meetings, training sessions, and collaborative workgroups supporting program objectives and continuous improvement. Minimum Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Health Administration, Public Health, Healthcare Management, or a closely related field., • Minimum of four (4) years of front-facing customer service experience, preferably within healthcare, public health, health insurance, or health administration., • Experience working in a health administration environment with knowledge of healthcare operations, processes, and client service delivery., • Proven ability to document client interactions, research issues, conduct follow-up, and resolve issues in a timely manner., • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex situations and coordinate solutions across multiple priorities., • Ability to work in a moderately paced environment while managing multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail., • Ability to adapt quickly to changing procedures, priorities, and program requirements., • Excellent verbal and written communication skills., • Strong organizational and time-management skills., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications., • Experience working with databases, case management systems, or electronic information systems., • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, Ryan White Program, and organizational requirements.\nCompany Description 22nd Century Technologies, Inc.
