    About the Role: We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Waste Collection Van Driver to join our team. This role involves driving a collection van on scheduled routes while also assisting with the loading and handling of waste materials. You will work as part of a small crew, alongside a dedicated driver’s mate, to ensure efficient and safe waste collection services. Key Responsibilities: • Safely operate a waste collection van on designated routes, • Assist with loading and unloading waste materials when required, • Work closely with your driver’s mate to complete collections efficiently, • Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects, • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations at all times, • Provide a professional and courteous service to customers and the public Requirements: • Valid driving licence (appropriate category for van driving), • Good level of physical fitness, as the role involves manual handling, • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively, • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious, • Previous experience in waste collection or a similar role is desirable but not essential What We Offer: • Competitive pay, • Regular working hours with overtime opportunities, • Full training provided, • Supportive team environment, • Opportunities for progression within the company How to Apply: Please submit your CV and a short cover letter outlining your suitability for the role.
