As a Nuclear Safety Principal Consultant at Orano Limited, you will deliver and help lead nuclear safety documents across the full lifecycle of nuclear operations for a variety of clients. Warrington or Abingdon (hybrid) • Deliver consultancy that meets, and exceeds the expectations of the client, in regard to technical excellence and the quality of deliverables., • Deliver consultancy that meets, and exceeds the expectations of the client, in terms of timescales and cost, supporting the long‑term growth of the business and its reputation., • Provide nuclear safety advice and guidance in multidisciplinary projects, interfacing with engineers, human factors specialists and other disciplines., • Develop and present robust, reasoned arguments in a rational and coherent manner., • Provide technical checking and/or verification for technical compliance, thoroughness of argument, and QA standards., • Liaise with all concerned parties on technical progress., • Take documents through the earlier stages of client governance., • Support stakeholder management internally and for clients., • Work with the Business Development Team to identify opportunities with clients to develop the business., • Minimum of 8 years professional engineering/technical specialist experience., • Have a degree or equivalent in engineering, science or related field of study., • Understanding of the safety case production process and methodologies for more than one client., • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the management and production of complex safety cases for a number of plant types at different lifecycle stages, as part of a team, showing the capability to work unsupervised within a team., • Familiarity with areas such as decommissioning, optioneering, best practice, human factors, radioactive materials transport, licensing, radioactive waste., • The successful candidate must, by the start of employment, have permission to work in the UK and be willing to undergo a security vetting process., • Offers of employment will be subject to relevant security clearance being granted., • Close working relationships with other Orano sites and client sites may be required, necessitating regular travel to those sites (dependent on project and client requirements)., • Competitive salary, • Private medical insurance at single, partner and family levels, • Non‑contributory pension scheme, • 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), increasing by 1 day per year of service up to a cap of 30, • Group Life Assurance of 4 times annual salary and Group Income Protection scheme for long‑term sickness, • Enhanced maternity pay #J-18808-Ljbffr
