    EXPERIENCED BAKER / PRODUCTION BAKER – £15 PER HOUR Nal’s Bakery | Nine Elms, London Part-time / Freelance to begin | Immediate start Nal’s Bakery is looking for an experienced, reliable and confident baker to join our growing independent bakery.We currently produce a range of brownies, blondies, cookies, cakes, traybakes, buns and other baked goods for our weekly market in Waterloo, private orders, corporate catering and larger events.I’m looking for someone who can work alongside me initially, learn our recipes and production systems, and eventually take greater responsibility for bakery production as the business grows. The role will include: • Producing brownies, blondies, cookies, cakes, traybakes, buns and other bakery products to our recipes and standards, • Weighing, mixing, baking, portioning and finishing products, • Preparing larger batches efficiently for markets and events, • Following recipes accurately and maintaining consistency, • Packing, labelling and organising finished stock, • Maintaining excellent food hygiene and cleanliness throughout production, • Cleaning down equipment and work areas, • Helping organise ingredients, stock and bakery equipment, • Working efficiently to production deadlines, • Assisting with larger event production, including our upcoming 31 August carnival, • Eventually contributing ideas for new products, flavours and seasonal menus What I’m looking for: You must have at least 2 years of practical baking experience, ideally within a bakery, café, restaurant, pastry kitchen or professional food-production environment.You should be comfortable working independently once trained and confident producing multiple products during a busy baking session.You’ll need to be reliable, organised, clean, efficient and genuinely passionate about baking. I’m looking for someone who takes their work seriously but also enjoys working in a relaxed, friendly small-business environment. This is particularly suited to someone who wants to grow with a young bakery rather than simply clock in and out of a shift. Opportunity to grow Nal’s Bakery is still growing, so I’m looking for someone who could potentially grow with the business.As production expands, there will be an opportunity for the right person to take on greater responsibility and potentially progress towards a Head Baker/production leadership position.I want whoever joins me to eventually have room to be creative, contribute ideas and have genuine input into the bakery’s product development. I’ll also teach you my recipes, methods and everything I’ve learned from building Nal’s Bakery. Pay & start £15 per hour I’m looking for somebody who can ideally start Wednesday 26 August, with availability to meet me and complete a trial shift this week. The immediate production schedule will include preparing for our weekly Waterloo market and a large carnival event on 31 August, so availability over the next two weeks is particularly important. About Jam Coding Jam Coding is one of the UK's leading providers of Coding, Computing, Robotics and AI clubs for primary schools. We inspire children through fun, engaging and hands-on technology sessions that develop creativity, confidence and problem-solving skills. As our South West London franchise continues to grow, we're looking for an enthusiastic, organised and proactive person to become a key member of our team. This is a varied role combining coaching, operations and school liaison. You'll work closely with the Area Director to help deliver an exceptional service to our schools while supporting the continued growth of the business. About the Role No two days are the same. You'll split your time between delivering engaging coding sessions in schools and helping coordinate the smooth running of our clubs behind the scenes. Responsibilities include: • Delivering Coding, Computing, Robotics and AI clubs in primary schools., • Assisting with timetabling and coach scheduling., • Providing cover when coaches are unavailable., • Transporting and setting up laptops and equipment., • Supporting recruitment, onboarding and training of new coaches., • Liaising professionally with schools and parents when required., • Assisting with holiday camps, assemblies and taster sessions., • Helping maintain our excellent reputation with partner schools. As the role develops, there will be opportunities to take on additional responsibility and play an important part in growing the South West London area. About You We're looking for someone who is: • Friendly, confident and professional., • Highly organised and reliable., • Great with children., • Comfortable using computers and technology., • Happy transporting laptops and equipment between schools., • Calm under pressure and able to solve problems independently., • Looking for a long-term opportunity with room to grow., • Teaching, coaching or childcare experience would be an advantage, but full training will be provided. Essential Requirements • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)., • Right to work in the UK., • Able to travel independently around South West London., • Available Monday to Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings during term time.
