At Franco Manca, great pizza starts with great people. For over 15 years we've been making slow-risen sourdough pizza the way it should be: simple ingredients, proper craft and restaurants that feel part of their neighbourhood. We're not a People team sitting far away from the action. We're close to our restaurants, our managers and our teams, and this role is right at the heart of that. Why Franco Manca? We're proud of where we've come from and excited about where we're going. This is an opportunity to join a business with real heritage that's investing in its people, its restaurants and its future. You'll have the chance to influence how we support our teams, work closely with senior leaders and make a genuine impact across the business. You'll also have space to keep growing yourself, with opportunities to get involved in people projects, leadership development, coaching and wider business initiatives as we continue to evolve. We're looking for a People Partner to work alongside our Operations Managers, helping our restaurant teams thrive. You'll build trusted relationships, coach leaders, support managers through the moments that matter and help create an environment where people can do their best work. This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety and influence. One day you could be supporting a manager through a complex people matter, the next you'll be using insight to spot trends, shaping practical people plans or helping us develop future leaders. If you enjoy working closely with people, balancing commercial thinking with empathy and making a real difference across a multi-site business, we'd love to hear from you. You'll love this role if · You like being close to the business and out with managers, not hidden behind a desk. · You enjoy coaching leaders, solving problems practically and seeing the difference your work makes. · You want exposure to senior leaders, people strategy and projects that shape how our teams grow. What you'll be doing • Partner with Managers to support our restaurants and people., • Coach and develop managers to build confident, capable teams. · Lead a wide range of employee relations cases with confidence, fairness, consistency and sound judgement. • Use people insight and data to spot trends and improve the employee experience. · Bring strong attention to detail to employee relations, people processes, documentation and follow-up, making sure advice is accurate, consistent and well managed. • Support talent development, succession planning and leadership capability., • Help shape practical people initiatives that support our restaurants today and as we continue to grow., • Work closely with the wider People team to keep things simple, consistent and people focused. We're looking for someone who • Has HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor experience in hospitality, retail or another fast-paced customer facing multi-site business. · Has strong employee relations knowledge, including confidence managing complex cases and a solid understanding of UK employment law. · Is CIPD qualified or working towards qualification; however, practical, commercial HR experience and strong judgement are just as important. • Builds trust quickly and enjoys coaching and supporting managers., • Brings a practical, solutions-focused approach. · Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in getting the important things right, especially when handling sensitive people matters. • Understands that every conversation matters., • Loves working with people as much as processes., • Wants to help create workplaces where everyone feels welcome and supported. Our values in this role · Welcome Everybody: You create a safe, inclusive and respectful environment where managers and teams feel listened to, supported and treated fairly. · Love Your Food: You care about the details that make Franco Manca special and help managers build teams who are proud of the food, service and experience they deliver. · Keep It Moving: You work with pace, clarity and common sense, helping managers resolve people matters quickly, fairly and practically. · Put On a Great Show: You understand that great people experiences lead to great restaurant experiences, and you help managers create teams who deliver warm, genuine hospitality every day. What you'll get · Up to £60,000 per year · Annual discretionary bonus scheme · 25 days holiday plus bank holidays · Salary sacrifice schemes, including pension, Cycle to Work and EV car scheme · Season ticket loan · Medicash health cash plan, including dental, glasses, physiotherapy and more · 24/7 virtual GP access, confidential counselling and advice on wellbeing, money, legal and personal matters · Free pizzas and soft drinks on every shift, plus free sourdough bread to cook at home · 50% staff discount when dining in any Franco Manca restaurant · Cashback, online discounts, discounted shopping vouchers, gym and fitness discounts, cinema tickets, family days out and exclusive hospitality perks · Annual social events, incentives and competitions · Up to £500 employee referral scheme, subject to terms and conditions · Development opportunities to support your growth and progression If this sounds like the kind of People Partner role where you could do your best work, we'd love to hear from you.
