The Role\n As Audit Manager, you will play a key role in managing client relationships, leading audit assignments, and supporting the development of junior team members. \n Your responsibilities will include: \n\n • Managing a portfolio of audit clients across a range of sectors\n, • Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts and corporation tax computations/returns for limited companies\n, • Leading audits from planning through to completion\n, • Supervising, coaching, and mentoring junior staff members\n, • Overseeing workflow planning and ensuring deadlines are met\n, • Providing practical advice on financial reporting, tax, VAT, and regulatory compliance\n, • Ensuring compliance with IFRS, UK GAAP, and UK regulatory requirements\n, • Supporting Partners with ad hoc assignments and business development initiatives\n, • Building strong, long-lasting client relationships\nAbout You\n To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: \n\n • ACA / ACCA / qualification\n, • Previous experience working within an Accountancy Practice environment as an Audit Manager or Assistant Manager ready to step up\n, • Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP\n, • Experience auditing clients across multiple industries\n, • Excellent communication and leadership skills\n, • A passion for coaching and developing junior team members\n, • Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to client service\n, • A desire to progress and contribute to the continued growth of the firm\nWhat’s On Offer?\n\n, • Competitive salary of £58,000–£61,000\n, • Hybrid and flexible working options\n, • Clear career progression opportunities\n, • Enhanced annual leave package\n, • Employee Assistance Programme\n, • Supportive and collaborative working environment\n, • Exposure to a diverse and interesting client base\n, • Ongoing professional development and training\nWhy Apply?\n This is a fantastic opportunity to join a modern, people-focused firm that values innovation, flexibility, and career progression.
