Regulatory Solicitor – Nottingham – Up to £65,000 \n \n A well-established UK law firm is looking to recruit a Regulatory Solicitor to join its growing specialist team in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with experience in regulatory, public inquiry, inquest or related litigation work to join a supportive and expanding team. \n \n The successful candidate will work on complex and sensitive matters for a range of public and private sector clients, with opportunities to take responsibility for their own work while receiving appropriate support and development. \n \n The role offers exposure to high-profile matters, client-facing work and the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of the wider regulatory practice. \n \n The Role: \n \n\n • Assist with complex public inquiry and regulatory matters on behalf of clients\n, • Support clients with their obligations and responsibilities during formal investigations and inquiries\n, • Assist with the preparation and coordination of responses to formal information and evidence requests\n, • Support on complex and sensitive inquest matters\n, • Take instructions from senior individuals and assist with the preparation of detailed witness statements\n, • Review and analyse large volumes of documentation and identify key information efficiently\n, • Advise on document disclosure and information management requirements\n, • Conduct legal research and provide clear and practical advice to clients\n, • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider regulatory and compliance practice\n, • Manage competing priorities while ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines\n, • Contribute to client relationships, business development and the continued growth of the team\n\n \n About You: \n \n\n • A Qualified Solicitor with experience in regulatory, public inquiry, inquest, compliance or related litigation work\n, • Experience dealing with complex documentation and evidence\n, • Strong drafting skills, including experience preparing or assisting with witness statements\n, • Confident taking instructions from senior individuals and communicating with clients\n, • Excellent analytical and organisational skills with strong attention to detail\n, • Able to assimilate and understand complex information quickly\n, • Strong written and verbal communication skills\n, • Comfortable working independently while contributing effectively as part of a wider team\n, • Confident using Microsoft Office and legal case management systems\n, • Willing to contribute to business development and client-facing activities\n\n \n The Benefits: \n \n\n • Salary up to £65,000 depending on experience\n, • 25 days' annual leave, plus bank holidays\n, • Hybrid and flexible working\n, • Private medical insurance\n, • Employer pension scheme\n, • Life assurance\n, • Enhanced sick and family leave\n, • Dental and travel insurance options\n, • Cycle to work and gym membership schemes\n, • Travel loan options\n, • Training, development and career progression\n\n \n Apply in the strictest of confidence online and or via telephone. \n \n Contact Danielle Lawton Retained Consultant \n \n Direct Dial: 0121 392 7377 Mobile: 0737 602 8332 \n Email: Danielle.Lawton@williamjamesrecruitment.com
