Stores and Distribution Coordinator \n £27,430 \n 37.5 hours \n Tadworth, Surrey \n \n Closing Date: 15th July 2026 - 23:59 \n Interview Date: Wednesday 5th August and Friday 7th August 2026 \n \n The role of Stores and Distribution Coordinator is to maintain the required stock levels of essential medical and housekeeping equipment to ensure there are no stock outs. Provision of services include processing deliveries, monitoring stock levels, assisting users with order processing in our order management system, carrying out stock takes as required. \n \n As a part of the Procurement team, the role holder will be expected to liaise with managers and staff across the Trust. The role holder is expected to work closely with the other members of the team and where appropriate assist in works as and when required to do so. \n \n This role is not open to sponsorship. \n \n Staff benefits include shuttle bus, and more… Read more below. \n \n Role Requirements \n Goods inwards and Distribution \n\n • Responsible for goods inwards process, ensuring that all deliveries/goods (including stock, cleaning materials & pharmaceutical goods) to site are received, logged and tracked to point of delivery within the specified periods in a timely and efficient manner.\n\n \n Stock Management \n\n • Responsible for maintaining stock levels in stores, placing orders for stores and supporting residential houses, ensuring accurate record keeping is developed and maintained.\n, • Supporting staff with Purchase order queries relating to Financial Operations.\n, • Work with Shops management team to ensure appropriate access to stock required for shops.\n, • Ensure stocks are stored and handled appropriately and correctly rotated.\n, • Maintain accurate records on-line of stock levels and receipting stock orders as required.\n, • Keeping stock records and pricing updated reviewing regularly to ensure accuracy.\n, • Making deliveries across site of medical and housekeeping goods.\n, • Perform regular and annual stock checks as required.\n, • Providing reciprocal support to the logistics team as required to cover annual leave/sickness\n, • Other duties as directed/required by Procurement and Purchasing Officer or Head of Department for ad hoc duties i.e. bed extensions (training to be provided).\n\n \n Procurement \n\n • Placing orders with suppliers as required for stationery, NHS orders, uniforms etc\n, • Reviewing Amazon Business account orders, and reconciling approval from Financial Operations.\n, • Regularly reviewing all Purchase Orders and Invoice Register to ensure prompt processing of invoices and closing outstanding Purchase orders,\n, • Assisting on reviewing key, preferred suppliers to ensure value for money.\n\n \n Interview date: Wednesday 5th August and Friday 7th August \n \n If you would like to discuss the role, please contact the Recruitment & Compliance Team, on 01737 365 880 or email: recruitment@thechildrenstrust.org.uk \n \n For more information, a copy of the candidate briefing pack and application form please click HERE. \n \n PLEASE READ CAREFULLY – ‘How to Apply’ \n Terms and Conditions \n \n PLEASE NOTE: The Children's Trust Application Form MUST be completed and submitted, for your application to be considered.
